She has received two McKnight/ARAC Career Development Grants, a Jerome Travel Study Grant, and an Artist Assistance Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. Her work has been collected by the Tweed Museum of Art; the City of Duluth; Norwest Bank of Commerce; St Luke’s Hospital; and Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick, P.A., among others. Her work is further represented in the Dayton Collections and in Växjö, Sweden. In 2007, Shaoxing University gave her a solo exhibition that traveled to the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, China. She has been—for more than forty years—an advocate for the Chinese community in northeastern Minnesota.view less
