After pastoring four churches in Texas from 1990 to 2012 he became the Associational Director of Missions for the Guadalupe Baptist Association. He and his wife, Lisa, currently live in Victoria, Texas. They have three children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren! Walter did his undergraduate work at Houston Baptist University receiving a BA with a double major in Christianity and psychology. He then earned his master’s of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his doctor of ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary with his research being in adrenaline management.
