She would write poems as a means for all her thoughts and feeling to escape. Cigi never thought to share her poems with anyone. It was not until the death of her brother that she decided to share her poems. Her gift of poetry became known to many after her poem “If You Only Knew” was recited at her brother’s funeral. Since then, she has been requested to recite poetry at funerals, weddings, and other gatherings.view less
