D. degrees at the University of Miami. He has spent over 40 years teaching full-time at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa and is currently the Chairperson of their Psychology Department. He has provided outpatient psychological services in Pennsylvania since 1980 and served as Director of Clinical Psychology for First Hospital in Kingston, Pa. for 28 years. While at First Hospital, he provided group therapy and psychological testing of psychiatric inpatients while supervising psychologists in the performance of these responsibilities. He has co-authored three previous books with Charles Brooks, namely; How Psychology Applies to Everyday Life, Subtle Suicide: Our Silent Epidemic of Ambivalence About Living, and The Dysfunctional Relationships of Givers and Takers: An Analysis of Toxic Chemistries. Other career highlights include serving as a preceptor for the Commonwealth Medical School in Scranton Pa. for three years, and speaking on behalf of the United Nations at their 55th Annual meeting, hosted at Lehigh University for United Nations Academic Impact.
