A native of the northern Virginia Shenandoah mountains, he was educated at Shenandoah Valley's Bridgewater College. In 1958, preparing for Christian pastoral ministry, he earned a degree in pastoral theology and biblical studies at Bethany Biblical Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.He makes his retirement home in Gilbert, Arizona.view less
