He now works as the general manager and chief engineer of China Submarine Cable Construction Corporation, a subsidiary of China Telecom, and participated in the construction/maintenance of many international submarine optical cable systems, including FEA, SMW3, CUCN, APCN2, TPE, APG, NCP and PLCN.
