What the rules state…
Certainly that many and interesting things, from the form and dimensions of the field and the ball to the manner of performing various executions of commencement and resumption of the game, from the different game errors to the technical and disciplinary sanctions. In one word, everything that can help the proper and equitable understanding of the game, of its development norms and of the arbitration.

The sports ground:
- The shape of the field: rectangular.
- The dimensions: maximum 120 m in length and 90 cm in width.
- For the international games: 110/75 m at the most and 100/64 m at the least.
- The field is marked with visible lines (usually with lime), whose width will be 12 cm at the most
- The two long sides of the field are called side-lines, and the short ones –gate lines.
- On the field, 6 flags are set up (high of at least 1.50 m): 4 in the corners of the terrain, 2 in the right of the center line.
- The center of the field will be marked with a white point, of which a circle with the radius of 9, 15 m will be traced.
- The surface of the gate (which is also called, improperly, the small square
has a rectangular shape and the dimensions of 18, 32 m in length and 5,50 m in width.
- The penalty area (the so called square
