WALKING WITH GOD
Because God is committed to meeting our needs we can never give up, we must persevere.
Adam was the first man to walk with God, Jesus the son of God walked and lived among man so to dispel the greatest Christian myth
God has no problem with our fleshy body, Jesus said touch me feel me, flesh and bone he went to the right hand of the Father. The issue with God is the carnal mind of man and the man that is not filled with the holy spirit but the flesh body of man is definitely not a problem for God after all God created the human body and said that it was good. The bible says flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God that means your flesh and blood will not get you entrance to the kingdom but Jesus said unless a man is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom. This means only that entry to the spiritual kingdom is not physical but spiritual, for God is a spirit and those that worship him must worship in spirit and truth, your flesh and blood will never meet the sacrificial needs. But certainly God welcomes you in the physical if you are regenerated or recreated, that is born again. Religion has this crazy idea that you have to die to get to heaven and that is why so many struggle with the idea of the rapture
.
Besides the fact that Adam walked with God there are biblical accounts of God walking with Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses. We are quick to say that we walk with God or that he is in our midst, likewise, on the contrary we are just as quick to think that we cannot appear live before God. This is sadly one of the greatest fallacies of our time. In 1 Corinthian 1:29 it states That no flesh should glory in his presence. The flesh here refers to the carnal mind or human nature
and again this emphasizes the importance of the instruction to renew the mind once again because the human nature or carnal mind will never receive the word by revelation. The establishment of religion and tradition has fed Christianity with this most profound lie ever since the days of Adam; I become totally frustrated with the continued garbage being fed from the pulpit in many instances, only because this bit of scripture is forever being perverted. One day I was in a church for five minutes and the preacher bellowed out from the pulpit the most famous introductory line to a useless sermon one thing for sure, death is certain.
I think at that moment God would like to throw in the towel and start all over, its like saying that Jesus wasted His time and we would all rather die in our sin.
To be able to walk with God we have to line up our thoughts and obviously our speech as well, with those of God. That is why we are taught that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Each time we speak we are judging ourselves and our words will condemn us. Your willingness to quote the scripture to reason why you should die reflects not only your unbelief but also the depth of your knowledge of God. It reflects the shallowness of your wisdom and lack of faith. A walk with God will bring about change in your life but remember also that God does desire to have fellowship with you in a real sense just like with Adam before sin entered the world. Noah’s walk with God left him isolated to become the only man God could use in His plan for us, Moses went through trials unimaginable and Jacob ended up with a limp. To walk with God is a reality and it will require change, not change for the sake of change but a change of heart and mind.
Many people struggle to walk with God because they are reluctant to let go of the past. God demonstrated this by taking His people out of Egypt into the wilderness. This could have been done the other way by chasing the Egyptians into the wilderness but this would have defeated the object of the exercise, which was to demonstrate that the comfort and security of the things of this world are not the things we should be depending on. God proved this by first healing them and then supplying every need as well as maintaining their health and well-being. This was a demonstration of the physical, they had to let go of the mental and spiritual things that they were picking up from the Egyptian culture and God would dwell in their midst. I think that God must have been very disappointed when only Moses and Aaron had the credentials to enter His presence. God is not a respecter of person and would love to have had communion with all of His people but unfortunately they were busy with the rituals of the temple. God said I do not require your sacrifices and offerings because He wanted them to get to the place where they no longer had any sin. He continually pleaded with His own
people to repent that they are to change their mind so that they could love Him with all their heart and mind. It does require change and change can be painful or if you trust God it can be wonderful.
A wonderful example of this exercise is written in 2 Chronicles 7 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. This famous statement has been hashed about by every kind of doctrine and religion for two thousand years without success, because there has been no revelation of what it is that God is actually saying to His people they are still out there lost and dying in the wilderness. That’s the proof, God said for why will you die O Israel
and no one has stopped to turn back and reply to God for like the lepers we have all been saved, Jesus came to save the WORLD. It is time to answer the question and it is time for the glory of the knowledge of God to fill the earth. Isaiah 11: 9 they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
THE GOSPEL
People who live in the past use it for an excuse to hide the present and future.
Pastor, teacher, prophet or evangelist, apostle and Christian what gospel are you spreading? Jesus said in Mark 13 verse 10 and the gospel must first be published among all nations. We boast so much about how we have spread the gospel
to seemingly the whole world and yet our Savior does not return, is it because we have spread a false gospel? After all the bible does tell us that in the last days there will be many false prophets and if we believe that we are in the last days then the question must be asked where are all the false prophets?
Do we really want to answer this one or should I leave it to your imagination? If you can answer this question truthfully then l suppose we will have made a beginning, equally we can compare life today with the book of Acts and draw our own conclusion. Romans 1:16 for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek Paul wrote in Galatians. 1: 6-7 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: ⁷Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Jesus said in John 8:32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. What the world needs to know is the gospel of truth, for two thousand years the world has been denied the power of God because the church
has been preaching a perverted gospel. This gospel has done more to destroy the life that Jesus came to save through His horrible death on the cross, the pagan gospel
of salvation does nothing to preserve life and everything to work death. In John’s gospel, 3:15 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Perish, meaning to die; and eternal, meaning everlasting; and I do not think that there is another way to translate this; the problem is man has difficulty with the believing part. The gospel is no longer preached with zeal and conviction because there is no longer an anointing on the lips of those preaching. The truth is they are not free and God cannot bless iniquity; unrighteousness is sin. If the gospel that is being preached were the truth then surely the signs and wonders, power and miracles would be evident, that is what the Lord promised. No matter how much the establishment would deny this fact, it is the truth and until we hear what the spirit is saying, it will not change.
The sermons of the day seem to have their origination off the Internet and not from the throne room, they are usually someone else’s junk mail from yesteryears book of theological sermons. It will be a
