      Keith paused, studying the photo his wife had presented to him on their first anniversary. It was a professional glamour shot of her in stiletto heels and skimpy French underwear. There was a delightful ‘come-hither’ twinkle in her smile and pose. Damn, Moira had looked hot back then. He still fondly remembered how the evening ended. Nine months later Matthew was born.

      In disgust, he shook his head. She’d let herself go in their twenty-eight years of marriage; had gained ten pounds, wasn’t as firm, and wrinkles were appearing on her face. He was ashamed of her.

      He tightened his tie and strode out of his dressing room into the bedroom. It was becoming increasingly difficult for him to pretend he was happy. This place was his home, but it had Moira. It was Elsbeth he wanted to wake up beside, with her firm flesh, Kerry-blue eyes and long straight black hair. Her body was perfection, and the creative way she showed her affection... He adjusted his trousers and changed the direction of his thoughts. He couldn’t get away from obligations until later tonight. Moira had a charity art auction at eight, and he wouldn’t be missed until close to eleven-thirty. It was a good thing the condo he bought for Elsbeth wasn’t far away. Keith hated that he had to steal time to be with his sweet confection but the prenup he’d signed so many years ago for his own protection had become a burden he couldn’t easily be rid of.

      His thoughts drifted back to when he and Moira had decided to combine their talents. Lust, then love grew between them, and the document was created. It was intended to protect the monetary assets he brought to the relationship and demonstrate she wasn’t after his money but wanted the man. The business and the marriage had been structured so they were partners with both sharing the assets equally
