About this ebook
Jonah: Pointing to Jesus tells the story of Jonah in light of the Bigger picture of the Bible with one eye on Jonah, and one eye on Jesus. As Christians on 'this side of the cross,' we see the Old Testament with New Testament glasses on. Jesus has always been the focus of the whole Bible. As parents and Church leaders, we ultimately want our children to see that all the stories, events, and people find their ultimate meaning in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. He is the Hero of the Story, its climax, its crescendo!

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together."
Colossians 1:15-17 NLT
