About this ebook

The only thing worse than having a crush, is having a crush on your best friend.

Isaac Talen has a secret. A big secret. The kind of secret that keeps him up at night.

He's in love with Mr. Perfect.

But Mr. Perfect just so happens to be his best friend. And Isaac has no idea how to tell him the truth without ruining what they have.

Desperate to find a distraction, Isaac throws himself into planning the annual Kissing Booth fundraiser for the local Q Center. Maybe hard work (and possibly a little kissing) will keep him from pining away!

Tristan Fallon hasn't felt like himself for the longest time. Fresh out of a relationship that left some serious scars, he's not looking for love, he's looking for something to keep him distracted from reality. When his best friend invites him to participate in the Kissing Booth, Tristan jumps at the opportunity to get involved with something other than boyfriend drama.

But when sparks fly during a blindfolded kiss, will Tristan and Isaac discover that what they've been looking for is right in front of them?

Kissing Mr. Perfect is a short but sweet and oh-so-steamy steamy besties-to-lovers M/M romance complete with a happily ever after! This story contains adult content and language which may not be appropriate for all readers.

    CHAPTER ONE

    TRISTAN

Relationships are hard. I don’t know anyone who will tell you otherwise, and if they do? They probably know jack shit anyway, so ignore the motherfucker and do what you want.

Whiskey burns down my throat as I take a large sip of the amber liquid I’ve been nursing for over an hour now.

One minute, you’re adopting a dog together and spending Saturday nights fighting over the remote. In the next minute, you’re coming home to a stranger in your bed doing an objectively admirable job of choking on your boyfriend’s dick, like it’s the only thing that will sustain him in this life.

Ice hits my lips when I go to take another sip. It seems my drink, like my relationship, is done.

Fuck, I swear softly, looking around at the happy people in the bar around me. Stag is familiar territory and it’s providing me a small amount of comfort.

The leather clad men playing pool in the corner, for example. Or the happy men on the dance floor, bumping and grinding to the music. Hell, even the bartender is happy—joking with patrons and flirting for tips.

    Life goes on.

My phone buzzes in my pocket for the thirtieth time since I arrived an hour ago. I don’t need to pull it out to see who it is. It’s him.

A rueful laugh escapes me when I realize he’s probably frantic by now.

Mattie isn’t the calm one in a crisis; I am.

The fact that I walked out, that I just turned around and left the condo, ignoring his pleas and the startled grunts of his cock goblin friend? Oh yeah, that’s Mattie’s version of hell. He’s probably freaking out right now.

The bartender pushes a refill towards me and I take another long drink. This time, the burn of the whiskey is like a celebration of Matt’s suffering.

    He did this.

    He broke us.

Why should I be the only one to suffer?

Three fucking years together, gone in the blink of an eye.

Like I said, relationships are hard.

The couple next to me begins to make out and the anger that blooms in my chest immediately transforms to soul-crushing sadness. Unshed tears prick my eyes and I bring the newly-filled glass of whiskey to my lips as I watch them. They are so hopeful and full of possibility that it makes me feel ill.

He’ll only break your goddamn heart, I croak out, gesturing with my glass and slopping the alcohol over onto the bar. But they don’t listen. They are lost in their own little world. A cozy cocoon where no one else matters and they can live in the moment, with each other. The lucky bastards.

Rough night? an unfamiliar voice causes me to look up
