First giving all praises to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Without him I would be nothing.
As always, this book is dedicated to my loyal readers. I know it has taken me FOREVER to put out a new release, but life has been a rollercoaster lately. Writing is my passion but I’m not a story telling machine. Sometimes your personal issues can take a toll on you. I’m human! So just like you guys go through stuff, I do too and it affects my work. What happened is not something that I’m comfortable telling the world but please know that shit got real. We’ll just leave it at that.
Nevertheless, I digress! Thank you all so much for being patient with me over these last couple of months.
Happy reading!
Previously in Diary of the Plug’s Daughter…
At 11 o’clock on the dot, Remy was cruising down W. 112th street in the passenger seat of her car next to Bae. Every so often, she’d steal a glance at Sur as he whipped the grain, but she didn’t say a word. She just kept wondering why on earth she ever cheated on him. He was perfect in almost every sense of the word.
What you lookin’ at?
Sur asked, coming to a complete stop in front of her house.
Your handsome face—
Remy suddenly stopped talking. Her eyes popped out of her skull upon seeing the hot pink truck parked in her driveway. You gotta be kidding me! I know he didn’t buy it! I know he didn’t!
What the fuck?
Sur questioned to the back of Remy’s head. His eyes darted over to the big body in her driveway. I know goddamn well she ain’t talkin’ bout that G-Wagon. Who truck is that?
Completely enamored with the matte pink Barbie truck up ahead, Remy must’ve forgotten who she was sitting next to.
With a huge smile, she turned to Sur. That’s mine!
she bragged, jumping up and down in her seat. I can’t believe he actually bought it for me.
He who?
Remy frowned like that much should’ve been obvious. Mendeecees, duh.
Mendeecees? Who dat?
he asked, trying to keep his cool by gripping the steering wheel a little harder. The last thing he wanted to do was jump to conclusions. Is he your long lost uncle or some shit?
Uhh… Umm…
she hesitated after looking into his burning eyes and realizing that she’d already said too much. Well, you see, he’s just some guy. I mean, uhh, he’s my roommate’s cousin, and he’s really nice. He told me that he was gonna get me a new car or whatever—
His hand flew across her face so fast she didn’t have a chance to finish speaking. She felt the hard blow, but the sound of bells ringing in her ears left her disoriented for a second. Her face was on fire as she gently touched it and cringed in pain.
A single tear fell from her eyes when she glanced at Sur again. W–why you do that?
You must think I’mma fuckin’ sucka,
he barked, his eyes red with rage.
He wanted to hit her again or bang her fucking head against the window for trying to play him out. Ain’t no nigga nice enough to cop a Benz for some random hoe that he ain’t fuckin’!
Sur, plea—
Bitch, shut the fuck up ’for I pop yo’ hoe ass! You let that nigga beat? HUH!
he fumed, fists balled in his lap. You out here tryna play me like I’mma fuckin’ lame. YOU GAVE MY PUSSY AWAY, BITCH?
Each time he called Remy out of her name, she jumped. She was deathly afraid because she’d never seen him so irate before. You hit me, Sur. How could you do that? TO ME?
This was the first time that Sur had seen her cry, and he didn’t care. He didn’t give a single fuck because he knew Remy was on some backdoor shit. Talkin’ ’bout that nigga nice. Repeating the words in his head had him hotter than fish grease. The only thing that kept Sur from killing Remy was him looking up ahead and seeing his boss approaching their car.
Fuck DC doin’ out this way?
Sur mumbled under his breath. He instinctively powered the window down, forgetting all about the huge secret that he’d been keeping from his fiancée. Whaddup though, boss?
he greeted.
Not shit, lil homey, I’m over here dropping my girl’s new truck off. What you on?
DC ducked his head inside to dap his worker up and froze when he saw her. Fuck you doin’ in the car wit’ this nigga?
Remy was looking right at DC with bulged eyes. She knew it was him, but she didn’t know what else to say besides, Huh?
Hold up! How y’all know each other?
Sur asked, his forehead creased with ignorance.
ANSWER MY QUESTION!
DC barked at Remy, not bothering to respond to his youngun. Sure, DC knew that she was seeing someone, but now that he knew who that someone was, he felt tried. Oh, so you not gon’ say shit, Remy?
The dumbfounded look on Sur’s face was priceless. Evidently, DC had his girl confused with someone else. Sur may have cheated with multiple hoes, but he wouldn’t be so forgiving if his woman had dipped out on him. Matter of fact, he would kill her for that kind of betrayal. So, what was DC talking about?
Well… you see… uhh. W–what had happened was,
Remy stuttered, making no sense at all.
She was truly at a loss for words. She didn’t know what to say. Remy just wanted to disappear, but her legs felt too heavy, so she couldn't jump out the car and run away. She could actually hear the sound of her heart beating as the world began to spin around her. And then, the worst thing happened when DC opened his mouth again...
Alright, cool. Maybe you still incoherent from the dick down I gave you back at my crib,
he snapped impatiently. Yo’ ass wasn’t so silent then, huh?
Chapter One
Why the fuck am I stressin’ this bitch like I’m some hoe ass fan? DC asked himself.
Inhaling a deep, calming breath, DC had to take a step back from the car and the situation. True enough, Remy wasn’t technically his woman, but he still felt like she’d misled him, and that’s what truly pissed him off. He’d been played like a boy toy by some young ass broad. The scheming bitch had even persuaded him to drop over a hunnid racks on a brand new G-Wagon, only for him to find out that she was loving the crew.
You know what… I’m good off you, shorty,
DC snarled, surrendering his hands in the air as he backed up some more. He needed to get as far away from Remy as possible. Yo’ broke, gold-digging ass can have the truck. The way you was suckin’ and fuckin’ on a nigga’s dick at the crib, you earned that. Just lose my fuckin’ number!
To keep himself from going to jail for kicking Remy’s ass or potentially shooting one of his most valuable workers to death, DC turned and stormed off. Fuck it! He washed himself clean of the entire ordeal as soon as he hopped back in his royal blue Aston Martin. It wasn’t even about Remy fucking with another nigga because DC was well aware that she had a man from jump. For him, it boiled down to principle. If she was involved with somebody in his camp, then all she had to do was tell him that, so he could know how to move without anybody catching wind. DC wasn’t trying to cause no unnecessary beef in the gang.
A nigga could’ve walked into an ambush fuckin’ around wit’ this bitch,
DC thought aloud, taking one last look at Remy’s car before peeling out like a thief in the night. And I already know this nigga, Harlem, finna be in his bag.
Sur sat back in the driver seat, massaging his throbbing temples as he tried to figure out what had just happened. He’d heard everything his boss accused Remy of, but it was taking him a moment to process everything. Something told him to get out of the car and walk away just as DC had done, but his shaking hands wouldn’t allow him to grab the door handle.
Is it true?
Sur asked, keeping his voice low and steady. His relaxed demeanor was like the calm before a storm. Did you fuck him?
Sur, please.
Please what?
I don’t wanna do this right now.
Stop playin’ with me, Rem. This ain’t no fuckin’ game,
Sur replied, his twitching eyes focused straight forward. He was starting to lose his patience. Did you fuck him?
Remy stared at the side of his handsome face. It made her sick to her stomach that he wouldn’t even look at her. I… I… well, you see, that’s not exactly how it all went down, babe. It wasn’t supposed to happen like that,
she replied through shallow breaths, beating around the bush.
The whole altercation had taken Remy by surprise; she’d never expected Sur to find out like this. One night, I was with my roommate, and she invited me to hang out with her after orientation. Time had gotten away from us while we were chilling. It was so late that I decided to spend the night and—
Yo, fuck allat! I’m not tryna hear it. Did you let that nigga smash or not?
All that other bullshit Remy was talking was for the birds. Sur didn’t give a damn about the circumstances surrounding her possibly cheating. The only thing he needed to know was if it happened. Point. Blank. Period.
Waiting for Remy’s answer pushed Sur into a rage. ANSWER ME, BITCH!
I’m so sorry.
Brows dipped, Sur couldn’t even fathom it. He asked again to make sure he wasn’t hearing shit. So, you did fuck him?
The only thing Remy could do was nod her head up and down. She went to open her mouth and say sorry again, but the words got caught in her throat. Next thing she knew, her head was crashing through the passenger’s window. Glass shattered everywhere, blinding her vision while the blow from Sur’s punch temporarily disoriented her.
You. Opp. Ass. Bitch.
He struck her repeatedly with each word he yelled. How you gonna play me out like that? As long as I been down for you. A nigga been waiting years to get some pussy, and you give it to somebody else? Like I’m some mothafuckin’ lame! This how you gon’ do me? Huh?
The blows were never-ending, each hit hurting worse than the last one. Remy couldn’t say a word in response because Sur wouldn’t stop hitting her. She could feel her warm blood swishing around in her mouth as she rocked from side to side with each lick.
Fuck you, Rem! I swear to God you ain’t shit, bro!
Sur snatched on the handle, hopped out the Honda, and walked off in a rage.
SUR!
Remy shouted after him from the window, hoping that he would stop and hear her out. Baby, please come back so we can talk!
Flipping around, Sur glared at her with disgust. Suck my dick, BITCH!
he growled, cupping his manhood through the fabric of his red Balmain jeans. Sur could’ve grabbed his strap and offed her right then, but that would’ve been a sloppy move. And watch yo’ back too, ’cause payback is a mothafucka! You and that hoe ass nigga, DC, gon’ get yall’s! Just watch and see!
As Sur disappeared further down the street, he made himself a promise. On God, I’mma bury both of their asses. He didn’t know when and he didn’t know how, but sooner or later, DC and Remy would regret the day that they crossed him.
Chapter Two
As soon as DC made it inside his girl’s crib, he headed to her room and collapsed backward on the bed. Although he was fully dressed with a pair of Jordan Space Jams on his feet, his tired body still sank into the pillow top mattress. After shit went left with Remy back in New York, he hopped on a flight to Cali, so he could lay under his woman.
I’m sorry you had a long night at work, babe. A lot of times you pay people good money to do a job, and they still find a reason to be unsatisfied,
Promise said, snuggling up closer to him. She rested her head on his shoulder and began playing with the hairs on his broad chest. Don’t beat yourself up about it. You can’t please everybody.
You right.
Aren’t I always?
she teased with a small laugh. But, seriously, I mean it. Don’t let the situation keep you down for long.
Oh, I’m feeling better already. Being next to you is lightening my mood,
he told her, keeping his gaze on the twirling ceiling fan. His rollercoaster feelings mirrored its spinning motion. I appreciate you for letting me crash here for a few days too.
Anytime, babe. You know that.
DC smiled deceptively and pulled Promise closer, planting a kiss in her hair. He hadn’t told her the real reason behind his unexpected visit. He couldn’t. All he said was that ungrateful motherfuckers were trying him at work, and he was sticking to his story.
I love you, P.
I love you too.
If nothing else, Promise had become something like DC’s constant. Even though they didn’t see each other every day, anytime he did happen to be around her, she always knew what to do and say. She made him feel like he had somebody real in his corner, and every street nigga craved a down ass bitch. DC appreciated his woman’s love and support more than he could ever put into words.
How my seed doin’?
he asked, placing one of his hands on top of Promise’s rounding belly. My lil nigga haven’t been giving you a hard time, has he?
Why do you insist on our baby being a boy? It’s possible that we’re having a girl too, ya know.
"My dick can’t make hoes. I be done killed a lil nigga for trying my daughter, so God wouldn’t play me
