THE IGNORED COMMANDMENT: and HOMO SAPIENS SPECIES EVOLUTION
()
About this ebook
Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages.”
Thomas A. Edison, Inventor.
This book though based upon medical and public health documentation
regarding the dramatic and remarkable benefi ts resulting from plant based nutrition
serves as an opening gesture for further research and documentation to support the
importance of our species acknowledging its true, compassionate and humane diet.
However, it is unavoidable that this endeavor involve the “Institution of Religions”,
the principle advocates for God’s Commandments. When the commandment,”
Thou shall not kill”, is observed and followed by humanity, we will transcend our
callous disregard for other species life forms and will therefore evolve as a species
to manifest the Christ-like spirit and the Love and Light of God. When we as a
species acknowledge that all life forms are due reverential respect and love, then
we as a species will evolve to truly respect and love ourselves.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I HUMBLY ACKNOWLEDGE, admire and respect the many groups and organizations that I consider as my mentors, visionaries and forerunners who have sounded the clarion call for the vulnerable animal species that have been the victims of callous disregard, contempt and disdain by our species’ lack of respect and reverence for other species’ lives. These groups and organizations have worked tirelessly to improve the lives and well-being of tens of millions of animals, whose only desire is to live in peace without fear for their safety and life from the dominant
species, Homo sapiens.
These organizations have nurtured my love and compassion for animals in conjunction with my spiritual associations. They represent the vast mechanism that serves to heighten humanities’ consciousness and its love and compassion for other species. I humbly wish to serve along with these credible institutions in our quest for justice and respect for all of God’s creation and creatures/ beings.
I will not reference the many groups and organizations by name that have enriched and enhanced my love and respect for all species. However, I look forward to contributing to their noteworthy endeavors with zeal and passion.
My personal acknowledgement goes to Nancy Lovesveganlife Kauffman for her remarkable editing and guidance in this endeavor. I am a product of my spiritual nurturing for the past 38 years that has enabled me to embrace life with love and gratitude for the peace and harmony I experience as a result of my diet: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As an initiate of Sant Darshan Singh Ji and Sant Rajinder Singh JI I have been blessed to have had a truly fulfilled and remarkable life. With the grace and blessings of God I look forward to enriching and enhancing the well-being of my fellow species, Homo-sapiens.
T HE IGNORED COMMANDMENT is a chapter in the book entitled Supreme Well Being.
This particular chapter addresses the divine, compassionate and humane diet which is necessary and essential for the continued evolution of the Homo-sapiens species. The Homo-sapiens species is unquestionably the most dominant and extraordinary species on the planet. This fact should come as no surprise when we consider that the human body has been referred to as the Temple of God.
Of course this implies that we humans are endowed with a divine spiritual essence and nature. Supreme Well Being
endeavors to facilitate the evolution of our species by acknowledging and emphasizing the need for nutritionally wholesome diets and healthy lifestyles that, if adhered to, result in a state of existence which facilitates self-actualization and embraces High Level Wellness principles, thus enabling species evolution.
Such evolution ensures the highest regard, reverence and respect for all life forms on the planet. Hence, in the words of Charles Darwin, English Naturalist, The love for all living creatures is the noblest attribute of man.
Mahatma Gandhi, Statesman and Philosopher asserts, The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
I stress that our greatness as a species will become evident when we evolve to appreciate and acknowledge the divine spiritual nature of all of God’s creation.
The famous physicist, Albert Einstein, an animal sympathizer for decades, finally became a vegetarian later in life. In a letter to his friend, Hans Muesham, he wrote:
I have always eaten animal flesh with a somewhat guilty conscience . . . . so I am now living . . . . without meat, without fish, and I am feeling quite well this way. It seems to me that man was not born to be a carnivore. He further wrote: besides agreeing with the aims of vegetarianism for aesthetic and moral reasons, it is my view that a vegetarian manner of living by its purely physical effect on the human temperament would most beneficially influence the lot of
