About this ebook
Lon Wartman
His thoughts profound, His words simple. He is a product of the western plains of Kansas where coyotes sing on starlight nights and dust boils over the plains on hot summer days. Where solitude reigns in lonesome refrains and neighbors are but the salt of the earth. His hobbies are photography and poetry; capturing moments in thought and time while portraying the beauty of the most simple of things. Long involved in the arts and politics his first book of poetry titled “365 Joyful Poems” was published in 2021. lwartman21@yahoo.com 1540 Symphony Hts. Monument Co. 80132

Dedication Page
I dedicate these poems to the people of Ukraine. I am convinced that they will eventually win this war. They are a very strong willed nation fighting for and defending their right to freedom. I sincerely believe in their cause. This is a cause we freedom lovers should applaud.
Poet’s Comments/ Foreword/ Introduction
The poems in this collection concern the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the preservation of a courageous and freedom loving people. It is a collection of sad and dark poems. Poems that I was very reluctant to write. Poems that no one should ever have to
