The Syriac Menologium and Martyrology
Names of Our Honored Martyrs, the Victorious, with the dates when they assumed their crowns.
Month of Canoun (at-Tani)- This is the 26th according to the Greeks. The first martyr in Jerusalem, Stephen, the apostle and leader of the martyrs.

✠ Canoun 27 [December 27th]- In the city of Rome, Paul the apostle, and Simon Peter, chief of the Apostles of Our Lord.
