To my husband Ron O’Neale,
I love you more than words can express. You are the man who creates the safe space I need to deepen my walk with God and sharpen my gifts. All things are done through the grace of Christ and the support of my husband.
To my four littles,
Though you aren’t so little anymore,
Mommy is not perfect, but mommy’s God is.
Follow me as I follow Christ.
And to the Miriams that God has placed in my life,
Thank you for continuing to hold up my arms in battle and my actions in prayer; we did this!

How It Began
––––––––
Revolutionary change does not come as one cataclysmic moment.
- Angela Davis
Introduction: How it began
After the publication of my first book, I was approached by my ministry leaders and given the opportunity to share about the transformation I experienced in my walk with God that year. Having been a Christian for 20 years, speaking about a revolutionary walk with God would seem commonplace and quite easy; however, that couldn't have been further from the truth.
Over those first 20 years, I had experienced trauma in my marriage, my friendships, church hurt, multiple miscarriages and an issue with codependency that I didn't even know existed. During those low moments, revolutionary would be the last word that describes my relationship with God. But not all revolutions are created equal, right? And not all of them start and continue until their desired outcome is reached. Some revolutions have ebbs and flows. It's the starting and stopping that sometimes mirrors breathing. So how did my revolution begin? Did it begin twenty years ago in the waters of baptism, the day I made Jesus Lord? Did it begin when I sought out individual and couples therapy to fight for my marriage and the future of my family? Or maybe it began on the threshing floor of prayer when I cried out to God for my barren womb to finally be able to hold and carry life?
While all of these events did spark something within me, it wasn't until I made the conscious decision and effort
