Very cute suite with mini kitchen. Little cluttered, table and chairs were right up against the bed. 2 bedrooms, perfect for a 3 person family or friends. Heating works real well. Location is central on main walkway in Harrison hot springs. The clerk upgraded our room without asking. Overall, great place to stay on a budget.
The last nite people came in late and stood outside till approx. ,3:30 and talked and laughed etc. I said something to them at 2;30 and someone else spoke up a little later making for a very long nite otherwise ok
At first upon arriving the room looked nice and clean, however even with staying for 5 nights, no housekeeping was offered. We made a request to clean the room, they never came. We had to go to exchange the towels and take out the garbage. The room also didn't have enough soap either, only one small bar to wash hands and none for the shower. We ended up buying our own soap as the office had limited hours. The bathroom wasn't bad but after awhile we noticed a musky smell. Also strange was there was a plastic grocery bag over something that looked like a smoke detector. Overall the location was good but they charge for parking ($5/day) so we ended up parking along the street for free. For the price we paid, we expected a bit more. Wouldn't stay there again.
Pros,
The motel is good when you consider its age because it is so old. The staff are very nice and supportive.
Cons,
They charge for parking however they mentioned it is free from Sep to July and they make an excuse that we reserve through Expedia.
We arrived to Harrison Spa Motel hoping to spend 2 nights and enjoy the scenery of the area. We were so disappointed and disgusted when we saw our room that we decided to stay one night instead of 2, and left early. The room was beat up and run down. The carpet was sticky and dirty with, hair balls, chards of glass left on it, broken tiles on the bathroom floor with packing tape to hold them together. The walls were damaged with peeling paint and being above the burger joint a smell of grease enveloping everything. The plumbing was shaking the whole bedroom and making loud noise when the next room over took a shower and same in our bathroom. After we checked in, there was no one to assist us. We called the phone number listed, rang the buzzer several times, called out at the front desk for 45 minutes without anyone answering. We are asking for our second night to be refunded, we are jumping through the hoops. Hopefully they will be reasonable and refund the night we did not spend there, as we checked out before their regular check out time. This is not a nice place. The pictures listed are outdated and do not reflect the current state of the motel. The service...well is limited. So disappointing.
It was an awesome experience, I want to mention specially manager of this motel as he was so helpful and provide service over and beyond his duties , big shot out for him , sorry I forget to ask his name , but a big thumbs up 👍
