"Very clean and modern rooms. Nice open plan reception area with plenty of seating and even a pool table. Only reason my review is 4/5 and not 5 stars is a cleaner woke me up, knocking on the door, 1 day too early, thinking I was checking out that day. I actually was checking out the day after. This was a genuine mistake and after a bit of back and forth (language barrier) she eventually understand. "

"This hotel is in a superb location. You have Atocha train station on the other side of the roundabout. A massive park just across the street. Three of the best art museums in the world surround the hotel. Shopping and great restaurants/nightlife just outside the door. Oh, and the hotel is great too. I was in a room on the seventh floor that had a balcony. Very comfortable room. Only issue was the shower leaked water outside onto the floor. This happens in many hotels. I would highly recommend...

Good value: cheaper than more fashionable central areas."
