Refund policy
Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt or purchase. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-5 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again.
Please inquire with your credit card company or bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. We may offer exchange or store credit only on returned sale items.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We may only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to make an exchange, send us an email at info@floatinglotus.net and send your item to: Floating Lotus, 27 Bearskin Neck, Rockport MA 01966, United States.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
Gift cards are not refundable.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs of returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning an item valued over $40, please consider using a trackable shipping service (USPS priority mail, UPS, or FedEx) or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive any item returned without a tracking number.
