Kwan-yin

At the entrance of the room a little statue of Kwan-Yin strikes me, next to one of the Virgin Mary.

Whether accepted as religious truths or as empowering myths, goddesses such as Gaia, Isis, All-Mother, Durga, Kwan-Yin and, yes, Mary, at the very least serve as paradigms, role models or "insight tools" (Bolen) to remind us of the goddess in every woman.
