The single most beautiful movie I've seen to this day...
Posted 10 years agoI've just now finished watching an anime movie that was so... incredible and bautiful... I'm literally sitting here, typing this as I wipe tears from my eyes. I'm not one to cry easily, to be more precise I've cried about 2 times across the past three years (and both of those were mental breakdown-like sobbing). Can't remember the last time I've cried just from being so moved.
The movie's name is Ookami Kodomo No Ame To Yuki (Wolf Children: Ame & Yuki).
It's about a teenage mother who falls in love with a werewolf and is focussed around their two children and them growing up in between the worlds of human and wolf.
I suppose you can guess why I, just 30 minutes in, had already decided to make a Journal about it.
The movie has everything, from comedy, to drama, philosophy, the social problems for such a thing as werewolves and the 4yr-old chibi wolves are just so absurdly amazingly cute that it's adorableness level is well beyond 9000.
I can only recommend this to every person reading this, assuming you're not one of those who think "drawn cartoons" are just childish. Double so for every furry, and triple so for every otherkin amongst those (including those not associated with wolves).
As well, RIP Dragonheart. Good movie, but can't possibly stand up to this.

Simply spoken, one of the best ad capella's I've heard

Even at the danger of being called a wimped, I literally shed a few tears over this song. It's simply that beautiful. One of the most known game themes of my generation, interpreted in a wonderful way, combined with a greatly competent voice.
Just take the min and listen to it, it will be worth your time.

Does anybody know...
Posted 11 years agoan, at the very least 'locally', famous author who makes a thorough and successfull living by writing werewolf porn?

I would love to figure out who that is, I don't think there can be too many in this branch.
Would be thankful for any pointers.
(and since we're on FA I doubt anyone has issues admitting he heard from that person / read the storys)

What does the fox say?
Posted 11 years agoJust mentioning it here for the unlikely case somebody here didn't yet pick up this new amusing YT-song.
I think this song is a great example for what true art stands for.

The Demonlord Chronicles
Posted 12 years agoSince quite a few months passed, I thought it would be approriate to re-work the way I released my story TDC here on FA. As those few actually watching me for the sake of my stories already noticed, I somewhen got tired of the complexity of simply submitting a few pages of words to FA and stopped regulary adding the new Parts and Chapters of TDC.
Right now, I've moved all single-parts to the scrapbox and instead put up the complete Chapters as documents. You can find the links on the end of this journal.
Chapter III is still being written and, over-time, published. I will not bother starting to submit single pages here again. If you want to read the 3rd chapter of TDC, you will either have to follow the TDC thread in my forum or alternatively wait a few weeks until Chapter III is done (and I will upload it as whole here).
Regarding the story itself:
The Demonlord Chronicles is a fantasy novel set up in a foreign world, a continent called Daina.
(In fact, it is the Earth and there IS a 'prequel' of sorts, but that's a trilogy from which I only published the first part (in German, as a printed book), thus it doesn't really matter here.)
TDC is rated mature for the potentially less-child-friendly content. The story is not really dripping with blood, but there are definitely a few scenes not suitable for younger or weak-minded audience and accordingly I long ago decided to simply tag the whole story 'mature'.
Since this is FA, I feel obliged to pronounce TDC does not and will not contain Yiff/Adult content past a few implications and eventually a spin-off when I feel like it.
Lastly, be advised the story is tried to stay within a 'reasonably realistic' area (as far as that's even possible with fantasy/magic possibly involved). Mashing up a vast number of different anthro races seems barely adequate for that reason and accordingly the main population of Daina does consist of a human race. However, there will be plenty of anthromorph (or at the very least: not-human) characters, including the protagonist(s) (sort of spoiler).
Content/Plot of TDC:
Ajan, a young boy living in the vast southern woods of Daina, never aspired to become someone special or renowed. All he longed for was a fulfilled, peaceful life with his parents, in the wilderness and open nature.
However, unknownst to him, the world started watching him from the second he was born and actually predestined his path many years before his birth.
How his life started, continued and as well ended... it's all written down in this book... these chronicles.
The Demenlord Chronicles!
I think I've mentioned everything mentionable, feel free to ask/poke me if other questions pop up. And honestly, feel free to leave feedback, it's always appreciated.

New story try, this time with 53% better English
Posted 13 years agoJust recently i've got some neat ideas for an interesting plot and decided to start writing yet another story (next to countless others). However, since 97% of the communitys/groups i'm in are English, i've decided to actually write it in English language. Which as well means i will post it over here on FA.
I will link this journal entry from every submitted story part and thus explain some things in the regard of the story here, once:
First of all, it's a classic Medieval-Fantasy-setting. I've tried "modern" storysettings a few times, but it never exactly works out all too well.
The story is about... now, i don't exactly need to tell much, the prolog within the first part is definitely enough ^^
Something i should probably mention, to: There won't be any Adult/Yiff content. At least not in the mainstory. Probably a lot of allusive moments and some implicit stuff, but nothing which would gain the story an Adult rating..
However, there will be, at some parts, violence, eventually some gore and enough stuff to mark some storyparts as mature, from time to time.
Next point; I aim for a realistic background and as such a world populated by loads of different anthro races mixing up to one "race" doesn't exactly work out, imho. Instead the story is set within the realm of human race, whereas the protagonists and some of the people they interact with will be anthromorphic. Trivially, each anthro race will have a different background story, f.e. the second main character of the story will belong to the tribe of Wolven (don't need to say which sort of anthro it is, do i?), who prefer living in the thick woods south of the plains the humans reside in.
As well, i need to mention: There will be, exspecially later in the plot, quite some "religious" content, as in light & darkness. It won't drop off into casual cliches, but religious fanatics could possibly be offended by the later plot and thus shouldn't read the story. Doubt anyone on FA is a religious fanatic, though XD
There's however a slightly problematic part, regarding my habit to drop story ideas after a few chapters. Usually this can only be circumvented by other people asking me to continue the story because they actually enjoy it.
In case you read and actually like the story, PLEASE tell me so. I'm a generic lazy person and without motivation i usually end up doing nothing, whereas with motiviation i rarely hit a jackpot (IndustrialCraft, anyone?).
It's not about only saying "Hey, good job, keep it up", but you could as well drop your own ideas into the story.
While i've already (kinda pointless to start a story without) got a rough plot planned with specific key events on the storyline, most of the actual story is still unwritten and unplanned. I'm one of these authors who say "Hey, this and this and that needs to happen in the chapter, let's start writing and afterwards by suprised by the outcome." If you got ideas about events which could happen, drop them somewhere in a comment or note :3
Something you will probably notice as well:
Compared to my last submitted story on FA ("Furmageddon" if you remember, if you don't, i disrecommend looking for it in my gallery, might burn your eyes) my written English DID improve. Actually a lot. Still quite crappy though XD
Feel free to point me at any major mistakes i make, exspecially ones in regard to comprehensebility of the text and incorrect grammar structures.
You don't exactly need to point at every typo or slightly misspelled word you find, though.

Philosophical thoughts, way of life and some compley stuff
Posted 13 years agoGeez, didn't touch my FA journal in ages XD Is anyone actually still watching my account and laughing at my crappy English? :3
Anyways, out of randomness, lots of free time and the fact i didn't write anything deeply-philosophical for weeks, i decided to share my oppinion of living, sense of life and all the stuff with you.
May be warned, the following text may contain:
-Stuff you never thought about
-Stuff you never wanted to think about
-Stuff that may offend people of different oppinion
-Bad grammar English
-Worse grammar
-Extremely crappy English overall
-Me
How to start such a thing...
Let's start with WHY am i writing this, except for the trivial reasons mentioned above. I want to help others. It's a, probably good, habit of mine to be happy if others are happy as well, regardless who, when, where they are.
As many, including, but not only, furries, exspecially otherkins living in a human body in this world is kinda... complicated and difficult.
Upon first coming to the conclusion of considering myself a dragon (which was some years ago) i had quite some troubles. Usually depressions, suicide thoughts, anti-motivation, the full spectrum. Probably puperty wasn't the best timing to discover such a fundamental thing, either.
What to do if you're firmly believing, or rather hoping, you're a dragon in soul, but stuck in a human body (at least i've hit the correct gender, could have been worse) in a ... "rotten" world like the modern one?
You're old enough to realise there won't be a magic day where you will suddenly transform or stuff. As well a rough guess will show up this sort of technology won't be discovered in your lifetime, either. As well your forced to live among a race of other beings, with a overcomplicated culture, countless social restrictions, material greed...
Ate me up a lot and some people, who will probably take the time to read this, either way, will remember me getting depressed about it often. (Loads of thanks again at all those who supported me in the hard times <3 ) Luckyly i never did anything stupif except for poking my arm with a scissor to distract me (luckyly i appear to have been much to afraid of actually hurting myself to make anything happen).
The big question for me was: Why?
That's where a complex chain of philosophy, physics and religion starts.
I've once, an afternoon if i remember correctly, sat onto my bed and started thinking. Where did everything start?
Religions say God created the world in 7 days and stuff. Scientists say Big Bang.
It's already proven how Earth formed itself and as well i doubt anyone can try to rollover the Evolution theory. Thus, from my point of view, one can't say God did create the Earth in 7 days, blahrgh, blub. However, if we go for the Big Bang theory, there's one important point noone ever talks about:
If we assume EVERYTHING originated from a single matter cluster... where did that one come from? Where did the universe, the space itself come from? "It was there and then exploded!" Where did "it" came from?
When did "everything" start?
So far, over years, i've only found one valid answer: Someone, rather something must have created everything. I'm not talking about Mr. personified "God". Just about "something".
May there's a god who's created the universe. May we're just an amusing experiment of an incredible giantic alien size, for whom planets appear like atoms to us. May we're just elements of a dreaming beeing.
It doesn't actually matter for the next step: What created "this thing"? If we're "dreams", the dreaming being must have an origin. If we're an experiments, the other race must have an origin.
Rinse&Repeat.
Conclusively, we end up on "something uncomprehendable" must have been "the first thing" of ever existant, creating everything following after. Ultimately, you could call this thing "life", "gaia", "god", "fate", "everything", "it", "the universe" or whatever you like. It could be considered the ultimate, unreachable being. Which somehow could very well hit the generic definition of "god". And admittedly in my mind i usually refer to it as "god" whenever i think about constructs like this one, but this whole paragraphs are to underline that it's merely the lack of a word making me use the word "god" and that it's not to be mistaken with the "god" brought up by common religions. At least non of the big ones, afaik.
At this point a small rant against common believes:
Christians. There's God, Jesus and the allmighty bible. Everything the Christianity is the word of the religious leaders and the bible (or rather it's interpretation) itself. It tells how god created everything and wants us to live.
HOWEVER, there is a big, ridicolously large flaw in the whole logic, causing me to honestly doubt intelligent people believing in this sort of religion:
The bible is a book. A book consists of texts. Texts are written by humans. How could a human write a book containing "god" or his intentions? As mentioned above "god" could exist as the ultimate being, but in that case noone could even closely understand this being or it's intentions. How could a human write a correct book in this case?
For this reason, i consider the bible invalid. Any religions basing of a book or any sort of document written/created by a human being are invalid in my eyes. Please don't take too much offense of this, not stating there is no god, just stating that founding a religion on something invalid can't work out.
So, let's assume there is somewhere a super-being which we will never either understand fully or come into direct contact with. Why are we here? Are we actually here? This is a troublesome question, which was thought about by ancient philosophs already. Probably everybody should know "Cogito, ergo sum." "I'm thinking, thus i am.".
I usually love to compare it with following: Did you have a dream yesterday? Yes? Then the day before? And before... repeat until you say "no".
Is that true, did you realy not have a dream on that night? You can't remember it. But does it mean there never was anything? Can something exist nobody knows about? If one thinks far, far back.. were you ever wearing diapers? I for my part couldn't remember doing it. People say i did, and it's probably correct, but for me it did never happen. A myself in diaper didn't exist, from my perspective. However, i, right now, remember writing this. I remember this day, i remember all the thoughts i commonly think. Thus i exist, don't i? And as well you're right now reading and thinking about this sentence. Now you remember reading the previous sentence, thus you exists for yourself by remembering your past.
This is a kinda confusing and probably "unperfect" reasoning. But in my eyes it makes perfectly sense. How could i non-exist while thinking and remembering?
So, now we are on following level: There is an ultimate being, and "we" exist (I'm going to keep saying "we" for better understanding, but actually above paragraph merely proves the existance of somebody reading it to himself. Thus i factually could only say "i exist").
Why do we exist? Assuming the ultimate being is the origin of everything, it apparently is somewhere as well our creator. As we're living, it probably wants us to do that, live. Why could an ultimate being want minor beings to live? Hard to tell and probably noone will ever find a valid and founded answer.
Some vague theories:
-It could be genereous, enjoying other beings living well.
-It could be malivious, enjoying other beings suffer.
That's it, from me, because an ultimate being, capable of creating everything, would require to know everything as well. Thus points like "It's curious and wants to see how things develope randomly" wouldn't make much sense.
This is probably i hate the most.
Judging from my life, i would consider it "good", i've got a home, a family, wealth, food, entertainment... Is it meant to be good so i can enjoy it? Or is it meant to hit me harder once it becomes bad?
As well i could rate my life "bad", heck, i can't fly, don't have scales and an body not even closely resembling my inner desire. Is it meant to be bad for me to suffer? Or is it meant to be bad so i can later on really enjoy the good parts?
I've not yet found a valid, proven answer for these questions.
Here everyone would need to pick a "believe" for himself. Ntm i probably didn't think about some more possible "vague theorys" at all.
Let's assume we pick the "It's evil" theory.
We're freakin lost, because some ultimate being hates us and will make us suffer. We cannot do anything against it, but endure the suffering or enjoy the few parts that aren't suffer.
Now, doesn't look that good.
How about assuming it's a "nice being"?
Either we're living well, enjoying or live... or we are not. But how could an ultimate nice being make us suffer? Most likely, because of the curious and... simple nature of everything alive: If you never felt any pain... do you actually know you're not feeling pain? If you would never become hungry, would you ever be aware of the nice feeling of being unhungry/full? Probably not.
Thus the ultimate niceguy is making us suffer, solely so we can later on realise the good aspects, enjoying the life much more then without the suffering.
Which of these ideas to pick now?
For myself, it's simple logic: Assuming the 2nd theory, the ultimate being is making me suffer by putting me into a human body. HOWEVER, it's as well granting me a "good" human life, probably because my poor mind/soul wouldn't survive the combination of bad life + wrong body. Thus i must assume that the "good part after the bad one" would be a second life (/reincarnation/ afterlife/ paradise) consisting of me having a dragon body.
Heck, that's great!
But what if i'm mistaken and the being is evil? It will make me suffer in this life.
I don't care, the next live will be better!
But what happens if i will have a human (or anything unfitting) body again in next life?
Possibility a): I don't remember this life. Rinse&Repeat above, i'm still "Heck, that's great!".
Possibility b): I remember this life. In this case i will have to assume the suffering wasn't enough to fully enjoy my true dragonic life, thus it's just another life to go.
By assuming the ultimate being is "good", im equipped for all cases. The worst case sceneraio is me waiting eternally for my dragonic life, while always sitting there in cheerful anticipation. The best case is THAT incredible awesome, i probably don't need to explain it further.
In any way, it's a "light win - ueber win" situation, afaik i just can't loose.
This was of course quite focus'd on my life. But i doubt somebody could not apply his life, oppinions and wishes into this scheme.
Thus ultimately, my answer to the "42?"-question:
We're living to enjoy our life, partially by good, partially by bad times, both necessary for us to find true joy.
And seriously, this attitude is awesome. It took me a few years to fully get into it, but since then i've never had any sort of problems with depressions or similar stuff again.
Even better, by assuming this isn't my true life, but just a "slightly-suffer pre-life" it looses more impotance. In fact the though of suiciding and just advancing to the next live is a valid idea. However, why not enjoy and learn in this life? There's plenty of time left, on either side.
It's plainly great, imho. Anything happening in this life is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what happen, in the end i will have a life in my true body, somewhere else, unrelated to this short human life.
"Why don't you do stuff X then?" Comfort. I COULD suicide. I COULD run onto the street and murder people. But why to? I could as well NOT do it and isntead do something i personally enjoy more. F.e. write philosophical texts in the hope of supporting other people's lifes. Or creating mods, sharing them online to make thousands of people more happy (not an overstatement, my MC-mod has 10k+++ users :3). Much more fun then killing random people and having to either sit in jail or die afterwards.
"But what happens if you get killed?" Derp, that's a win, because it means the end of this puny life :3
It's puny, but as well great, but still completely irrelevant and "crappy" compared to my later true life.
This attitude permits you to live however you want to live. You're free to do whatever you want to do. It doesn't matter, because it's not relevant. All i do in this life is merely because i like/want it to do. For whatever reason.
As well i barely need to be afraid of anything. The worst is an even causing uncomfortability, like a broken leg, a loss of a job, the death of a family member. Of course, all these things will cause suffer. But compared to the true life it's nothing. Neither relevant nor of any compareable size.
There's only a single "slight" problem with this attitude. This damned body's instincts are not exactly going well with it. For example humans are per evolution "afraid" of danger and death. Though latter one is actually the best thing that could happen to me. Same way i feel instinctively sad if somebody dies, though there is actually no reason to.
Death is a step into next life, and ultimately into a better one. Thus one shouldn't be sad about , but rather envious at a dead person (sorry if this sounds harsh or offending to some people). As well there is no reason to do stuff like crying dayslong about a loss. It won't exactly cause anything beneficial. One just needs to move on and keep on living. Or dieing, not a bad thing as well :3
So far, all my arguments should have been logically founded. Now i would like to add some personal notes that can't exactly be proven and may appear invalid or unreasonable to other people:
Once a few years ago i had quite some trouble at school. I'd been lazy and i couldn't finish a big and imporant work in good time. Thus i tried my best, mashed something up, in the knowledge of it actually not being good enough to pass.
Kinda despaired i scolded myself for my lazyness and thought about what i could possibly do. Finally i decided to pray, in case it could be of any use and begged god to somehow make me pass.
Freakin hell, next day i've suddenly got a B-. For some reason i had "misread" something regarding textsizes and thus my work was actually much longer then ned.
Of course now one can say "and what exactly is so miracolous about this?" Now, it's hard to prove this wouldn't have happened if i didn't pray. Fact is, i did pray and it appears to have worked.
"Coincedence!" Yes, probably.
However, driven by this first "coincedence", i've started praying regulary. Not a christian pray, though i've grapped some phrases of the "Father our". Currently my daily evening pray consists of ~40 lines, quoting various basic thoughts i want myself to remember every day, as well as thanks directed at "god" or however we proceed to call the ultimate being. Actually it's useless, because "god", as allknowing being, always knew i would be thankful -blah-, but i still feel good after stating the thanks for myself.
As well, whenever, whyever, whereever i had serious trouble coming up, of any kind, i begged "god" to help me.
And, this is where i say "Coincedence? No!", so far, whatever i begged for, NEVER was denied. It didn't always came in the way i exspected it, but it always worked out. regardless of how stupid the beg was, regardless of crazy it was. Always. Every single time.
I stopped counting and my memory is too bad to remember most of them, but so far it should be 30+ of these "miracles" within my life. And every consecutive + makes the chance of it being coincedence smaller, from my perspective.
"Why don't you just wish yourself do be a dragon then?" Why should i? There's lot's of things i couldn't do anymore when becoming a dragon. For example typing on a keyboard. Or cooking. Or learning about humans while they consider myself one of their kind.
"Then prove it by wishing for something irregular, like an elephant rain!" Why should i need to prove it? I for myself believe firmly and got my 3 dozens of proofs.
"You're just not doing it because you know it wouldn't happen!" Now, probably it wouldn't happen, because i would actually never make such a wish either war. It's like a dogma. Same as if i would wish god not to exist. Would it be granted if i would ask god for it? Question invalid, because i would never ask such a thing, not even to test it. Even if it's a good being, it wouldn't be appropriate to mess with it in that way after granting me that much already.
As i've said, these are personal facts and occurings. I can neither prove them, nor can you be sure of me not lying. But i just decided to throw them in, in case somebody had similar occurings.
If you really read until here, thanks. Took me quite some time (97 min now) to write this. Ntm the time i spent formulating some of the sentences beforehand.
I've written this in the intention to help people who probably didn't find their way yet or lost it. I wouldn't dare to claim ultimate correctness for anything mentioned above and i would very well love to discuss about arguments you consider incorrect (which shouldn't be a problem, because afaik there are no morons watching me and thus reading this journal).
Please leave a comment if you think this helped you in some way.
As well feel free to point any other people at this or stuff. Assuming my English isn't entirely overcrapped.
Which may very well be, it's 1:37 AM here XD

Anyways, out of randomness, lots of free time and the fact i didn't write anything deeply-philosophical for weeks, i decided to share my oppinion of living, sense of life and all the stuff with you.
May be warned, the following text may contain:

Minecraft - IndustrialCraft
Posted 14 years agoObviously, a few people on FA are playing Minecraft.
Thus, i would like to advertise my Minecraft Mod "IndustrialCraft" here, as well ^^
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewt.....2&t=199635
It offers about 110 new items, 70+block, SMP compatiblity and VASTLY enhanched gameplay.
What would you do in vanilla once you get stacks of iron and alot of diamonds?
Derp.
In IndustrialCraft, you can use these ressources to build awesome new systems and tools. For example energy-networks being powered by 5+ different sorts of Generators, energy-current regulating machines and energy-consuming devices that smelt/macerate/extract/compress stuff into much more new stuff.
Or build some nice new mobtraps with Creeper-burning luminator lightbulbs, High-Voltage fences or just a big RA2 TeslaCoil.
Or you decide to use Terraformers to turn that desert over there into a rainfores full of mushrooms. Your choice :D

18. () Have you been to more than 20 furry cons in your lifetime?
19. (x) Do you think that deep down you have the spirit of an animal within you?
20. (x) Do you enjoy hanging out with other furries? (Though, this is rather a half x...)
21. (x) Do you think we should have a furry run for president of the USA? (Lolz, why not?)
22. (x) If you ever became rich would you own a room in your house that was just to display your fursuits or furry art? (Does a room desgined as fluffy cave count, too? Of course full of cuddly dwaggys :D )
23. () Is your best friend furry? (Not sure... Probably because he isn't sure either XD)
24. () Do your furry friends call you by your furry name in public? (OFC... not!)
25. () Have you been in the furry fandom for at least 5 years? (1,2,3.. uhm... 6... uhm... Pi... nope, i guess it are 4)
1 to 5 = Furry wannabe.
6 to 10 = Furry newbie.
11 to 15 = Furry.
16 to 20 = Hardened Furry.
21 to 25 = Hardcore Furry.
11 = Furry
Now, since i'm a scalie either way, this is acceptable, isn't it?
Obviously...

Posted 14 years agoNow, i surely didn't exspected EVERYONE to comment on the last journal...
But i neither exspected NOONE to comment at all.
I'm seriously sorry if i asked for too much, couldn't know most people don't have the 5 minutes to read&comment a journal.
I will just take the 21 non-comments as
"Dude, i'm not interested in storys"
and therefore stop my plans of writing storys on FA.
Cheers :(

Choose a story!
Posted 14 years agoNow... I've got some problems in my life right now.
Blah, blub [insert casual emo-journal thingys here]
However, i'm not crying about it, but thought of a solution:
Problem #1 is me being bored like crap since a couple of month... sure, studys will start soon, but i've the feeling it will not change much XD. So, i need something to keep me busy.
Problem #2, my human mom wants to force me to get some money on my own. And since i will NOT go for the casual "Supermarket assistant" job thingy, i already started helping other people in school (je, that's a casual student-job thingy, too... but it's no physical work XD). Something to get a small income would be nice.
Problem #3, i waste WAY to much time in front of my PC killing zombies/ships/spaceships/whatever-moving-over-the-screen. Should try to use it for something useful instead.
Solution to 1-2-3:
I will try my luck in taking comissions for writing storys here on FA. Which will most likely fail because you can't fap to stories that well, but who cares...
As a start, however, i will need to get some people to notice/watch/worship me...
Therefore, i will first start with writing some stories for free to attractvictimsinterested readers.
Since YOU are the guys supposed to read the crap i produce, YOU have to choose what i should write next.
C&P this with your "x"s set, of course you can vote for as many things as you like.
[ ] Finish you're already started Story "Furmageddon"
[ ] Start writing your long-planned RP-Fighting story "Mortal Brawl"
[ ] Start writing a Sci-Fi story taking place in a classic Zombie Apocalypse
[ ] Translate your already published and even contest-winning storys from German into English so i can read them!
[ ] WE WANT YIFF-STORIES (most likely with gai buttsecks)
[ ] Mind writing a reference/short story for my character?
[ ] [insert your idea here]
(If you're shy for some reason, you can PM me your choice, too, of course)
Hope to get some feedback... ^^
Greetz,
Alblaka
PS: Guess i sould update my FA profile *busy with doing so*

Möchte noch jemand ein Buch von mir?
Posted 14 years ago-[Sry, just making advertisment for a book written by me. Since it's in German, every not-German speaker shouldn't pay any interest in this journal ;)]
ISBN: 978-3-86761-073-5
Direkter Amazon-Link: http://www.amazon.de/Die-R%C3%BCckk.....417&sr=1-4

Alblaka

Searching Battle Music Themes
Posted 14 years agoI'm working on my biggest LF2 (for the case you still didn't notice it, though the many links in my yournals: www.lf2.net ) modding project ever atm...
And i'm still searching some nice custum battle themes for the Stage Mode.
These can include:
-Remixes
-Custum
-WHATEVER
(besides official film themes or whatever... using them would be kinda uncreative)
The length is kinda uninteresting, since i can easyly cut it into length if ned. 1-2 min would be optimal, though.
Would be great if you could help me finding something fitting ^^ (if you say "goddamn, i have no clue WHAT could be fitting" you can either just take all epic battle themes you know of, OR download LF2 and check the normal battle themes to get the right feeling ^^).

3. Tell you my first memory of you.
4. Tell you what animal you remind me of.
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you.
6. Tell you my favorite thing about you.
7. Tell you what song reminds me of you.
8. Challenge you to post this on your journal.

Somebody interested in spriting?
Posted 15 years agoJust though i could try it here, since i got a couple of surely skilled artist watching me ^^:
May you know it, may not, there is a nice freeware Beat'em'Up game called LITTLE FIGHTER II ( > www.lf2.net < )out there. It was actually developed to be enhanced and modified (what's the reason for the 300++ chars&modifications out in the www) and i'm one of the guys doing DataChangig (insider term for modifing and creating data files for the game).
But as most people can see in my brutal bad gallery, i'm not much of an artist (or "spriter") and therefore limited to recoloring the already existing basic chars and therefore being heavyly restricted in the choose of moves (new, creative moves usually require new sprites).
Since some time i was already planning on doing a dragon-anthro character for LF II, but of course there are no sprites for this kind of char avaible. Neither could i draw them, nor would most of the spriters in the LF2 communitys (since they most likely draw casual (human) chars).
I dunno, whether anyone has the time or interest to work together with me on that char, but for the case someone is interested:
A usual char needs about 2 spritesheets of basic sprites (standing, walking, punches etc) and (depending on the amount of moves) up to 0-2 more with move sprites. Additionally the effects (f.e. fireballs etc), though this are the things even i can create (on a quite low level, though).
In fact you would need to draw about 200 pics of a size 79x79 px. Most likely it would be going to be c&p of some parts rather then really drawin 200 single sprites.
You can find an example for LF2-Sprites in the game itself or in this link: http://i40.tinypic.com/2a7shau.jpg
PS: If you are not interested in spriting for this project, but just have interest for LF2 in general, feel free to join http://www.lf-empire.de/forum/index.php , the biggest LF2 community online.
