Little Shop Opening Soon
Posted a year agoHi everyone! I've been working hard towards opening a little online shop. I'll announce it here soon, hopefully within the next 2 weeks.
For now the items available will be the Cookie coin seen here (https://twitter.com/cinnamonfigures.....50803552133129), a silver version of the coin, and some Cookie stickers. I'll share pictures of these in my gallery soon.
Future plans include making character figures available too. I've been working on that all year and think I'm near the point where I can make them durable and in a reasonable amount of time.
Thank you for all the support you've given me <3

A little break
Posted a year agoHi! I hope you guys have been doing okay.
I've been taking a little break from modeling to work on making 3d printed and painted figures of my models.
Making really nice figures is something I wanted to do for a long time. I made a few decent ones before but I'm really pushing to do better this time.
It's taking a while to get results I'm happy with but I think I'm on the right track.
Sorry for the lack of posts in the meanwhile.
On a side note, Itaku seems cool so I made an account:

It's nice to have more options, so I'll post there when I get time. I'll try to include some stuff I haven't shared yet :>

Back Soon
Posted 3 years agoHi! It has been a while since my last journal. A lot has been going on so I'll try to keep it simple.
I was stuck in a deep depression for most of the past year. Less to do with the pandemic and more to do with ongoing physical and mental health issues.
But I've been doing better lately! Still I haven't been very active with art for 2 big reasons.
First, Maya stopped allowing perpetual student licenses. My last few sculpts were 100% Zbrush but my Cookie and Larry rigs rely on Maya.
So I started learning Blender, but I'm slow and often distracted.
Second, one of my Subnautica speedruns got a bunch of attention which led me to get partnered with youtube.
I figured it would be a waste not to try to build on it a little, but I'm starting to feel done with that now.
Grinding out videos for a living under an exploitative employer probably isn't for me.
So I think I'm doing 1 last video and then I'll be focusing on art. I have a bunch of projects already partially done including animations and physical figures.
A few of them are nsfw, so if you've been hoping I'd do more adult stuff I hope your wish will be granted :>
Thanks for reading~

5 Years
Posted 4 years agoI've been doing 3d art for 5 years now. Wow! I finished the tutorial level!
I really want to thank those of you who've left comments and notes. You all have been so nice and without your feedback I don't think I could have stuck with it for this long.
Since my last picture I haven't been able to do any art because of physical and mental health problems, but I think I'm ready to get back to it again.
I gave some thought on what I want to work on next:
* More models and variety - As much as I love playing with my yoshis I need to put them away for a bit. I don't have much confidence in my sculpting ability because I just haven't made enough models yet. It's time to start working on that.
* Physical figures - I've gotten better at turning models into pretty figures but I want to do more. I'd love to make some available to buy some day but only if I get them to a higher standard than I've done so far.
* Stream - I'm trying to find ways to interact with you all more so I want to stream art and maybe games. I guess I have the streamer equivalent of stage fright though. I want to try to overcome this.
I'm trying to stay optimistic about the future and I hope you will too. Please take care of yourselves.

Where i've been
Posted 5 years agoHi! I know i've been inactive for a while and i feel bad about it. Normally i can blame work, but this time it's something else.
I mentioned a while ago i had an illness i was getting better from, but it slowly came back and has gotten worse.
I've had tons of doctor visits and tests with no conclusion on what it is yet.
Best guess so far is it's something genetic that was triggered last year. Practically everything else has been ruled out.
My condition comes with extreme weakness and fatigue, so it has become very difficult to work on art lately.
I hope i can get treatment and get back to making stuff soon. I have big plans for making this more of a full time thing soon.
Thanks for reading <3

Health update
Posted 6 years agoHello everyone!
I wanted to give an update on how I'm doing any why I haven't posted any art lately. I've had an illness for most of this year that has made it really hard to do anything but lie down and sleep. It got worse 4 months ago and i've been in and out of doctors offices and hospitals constantly since then with no results.
The good news is I think I'm finally starting to get better on my own, so hopefully I'll be back at it soon. I have like a dozen half-finished projects sitting around waiting for me.
Thanks for sticking around, and thanks for the comments/watches/favs. I may not respond to everything but I promise I see and appreciate everything.

Getting into ZBrush
Posted 7 years agoI've finally been getting around to learning ZBrush. It's hard!
Digital sculpting is very different than what I'm used to. It's great because it's faster and a lot more artistic, but it's also showing me that I have no idea what I'm doing artistically. So.. the sculpts I've been doing are really bad and it might be a while before I have anything worth sharing. Sorry! Eventually I hope my stuff will be a lot better.
Thanks everyone for the favs and comments, I really appreciate them all. You've really helped to keep me motivated~ <3

What do you think of art school?
Posted 7 years agoIt has been a little over a year since I started sharing art here so I figured it's about time I opened up a little and posted a journal.
First I just want to say thank you to everyone who has ever fav'ed anything or given any kind of feedback on my stuff. It really means a lot to me that you took the time.
Something has been on my mind lately and I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion they're willing to share on this: Do you think art school is worth the time and money? Everything I've learned artistically over the last 2 years has been through YouTube, digital tutors, streams, and random Google searches. As I get more "serious" with this stuff, do you think I might miss something important by not getting an actual degree?
