So I've worked out a bit of a plan for the page. I want to host other creators art here for exposure, both SFW and NSFW, tagged properly of course. I had the worry of minors joining and seeing that type of content, but so long as it's tagged properly, it should remain invisible to them.
I want to host a separate Discord server where events can take place, but I'd need willing and active moderators. I'll be creating a Google Forms document after the creation of the server to hire some moderators. This would be non-profit of course, so I say "hire" as in gather willing volunteers.
I want to have places for artists, musicians, and rom hackers/game devs too of course!
There'd be channels for all 3 categories to submit to, and the highest voted on by everyone will take the spots for that weeks spotlight artist. It'd then be posted to this account with links to the original creators of course.

If you think other channels should be added, or if you'd be interested in a moderator position, let me know below!

I want to start a more active Pokemon community in the fandom, and do art showcases here as well, to help promote growing artists!

We have Skyrim VR and that more or less works. Getting to actually physically throw the pokeball with your hand would be amazing - throw in voice commands instead of selecting moves from your menu and an immersive backpack UI to replace *that* menu and you have a workable battle system with full immersion.

And with it, a very small roster plus some supports. In this bunny's humble opinion, maybe they should have added a few more playable pokemon before releasing the game. It's the first of its kind for Pokemon games, but it's threadbare when it comes to fighters.

In other news, I received a note from   MidnightAegis with some exciting info!

"The Red, Blue, and Yellow versions of Pokemon on the eShop actually work with Pokebank as well as the Missigno and Mew glitches! This means that it may actually be possible to obtain Mew and Missingno with Sun and Moon's release!"

So go out there and get catching! Just don't let Missing No. turn everyone and everything you love into more of itself.

A new "Nintendo Direct" Livestream by Nintendo will be held today at 2PM Pacific Standard Time. There are already rumors that new Pokémon related announcements will happen.

A new Pokémon game possibly? Or a release date for "Pokkén Tournament"? More specifics on "Pokémon GO" or DLC for "Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon"? I'm already as excited as you to see what they might have in store for us.

So quite a lot has happened since this page was last updated, and it's going to take some doing to get back up again.



In current news, the release of Pokken Tournament draws closer every day and boy, that's exciting!

Also, the page here is back under its original management team. Things went awry with issues of sharing, and I'm gonna have to find some new staff to help out, but for now it's chugging along.

Instead of the usual generation trilogy of having two games and then the special version, it seems as though this is going to be a direct sequel to the recent Black and White games.

Now I guess I do need to get B&W. I usually wait for the 3rd game.

Stealing the idea from friends on Facebook, it seems to be that December is the month when everyone puts up their Pokémon icons to show off, and what could be a more appropriate place to pass that on than a Pokémon furs group?

Of course, those of you like myself (a Mewtwo) who already have a Pokémon character need not do anything special, but those of you who aren't can still join in on the fun!

I think it's fair enough to say that any icon related to Pokémon is game, not just pictures of Pokémon. Those pokéball icons will count too, as will cosplaying as Pokémon trainers!

Hey guys!  thesomething here.

I know it's been a good while since I last contributed anything to this group. The problem is, I'm not really sure what to talk about or post to keep things lively.

I myself have been busy with life as a whole to update regularly, even if I had things to talk about. The other thing I noticed is that the forums kind of died (meaning no one has posted since early October), unfortunately, meaning I don't have much material to work with to keep you guys interested.

So what I'd like to ask of you all is...what kind of things would you like me to update with? I myself can't arrange tournaments or anything of that sort, since I don't play the games, but I will see what I can do regardless if people are interested.

Looks like things have slowed down again for us...unfortunately, with the school year right around the corner (or already started for those of us in college like myself) things might stay quiet for a good while.

However, I put this bump up as a way of reminding people that the group isn't dead, just dormant. I don't really have much to say, seeing as I don't play the Pokémon games, and I presume the other folks who look after the group are busy with their own lives. But I do check in every now and again to make sure that things are going smoothly, so you can keep on doing...whatever you guys like to do on group pages.

Don't forget, we have the forums up in the journal header above, so be sure to pop in once in a while and say hello to people, contribute some fanart, maybe even get some Pokémon battles going or somethin'.

Sorry I'm particularly lacking in things to talk about! 'Fraid I don't know much about the new games since I haven't played them since childhood. At some point I will see if I could arrange some kind of tourny or way for you guys to communicate with each other.

Actually, on that note, what would you guys say to having a forum made for us to gather and talk about whatever? We'd still have the group here of course, but then we would post links back here and perhaps even bring up mentionable topics that come up in the forums.


In the meantime, hope you guys are enjoying your summer so far! It's been storming and humid for me, so I can't say I have been terribly much. :c
