Part One: Welcome to The Manor

In the mists of the great sea of old, an island sits isolated from the rest of the world. On it sits a village filled with all manner of creatures in all shapes and sizes both anthro and feral. Intelligent beings that seem human yet resemble animals like dogs, cats, snakes, and all manner of furry things, and scaly. On the outskirts of the village near the shoreline stands a massive mansion, home the the village’s protector, a demon shark named Mina Seabold and her brother Dante. It is their demonic magic and link to the sea that has created the misty fog that shrouds the island from the rest of the world, keeping the prying eyes of humans away and causing fear in the hearts of those whose ships stray too close to its shores. Apart from protecting the island they also take in orphaned furries who have nowhere to call home, raising them like family. Among those that live with them are the twins Kit and Rito, black furred tigers who were shunned by their family because they were born with black fur, the only relative they have that visits or cares at all for them is their cousin Shera who visits time to time. The mansion has a guard that patrols the grounds, albeit not as intimidating as one would think given the fact he is a cute and unassuming mouse boy named Cotton, but he wears armor that resembles puffs of cotton and wields a spear he is quite deadly with. And as if that wasn’t enough, if anyone should ever break into the mansion they would have to contend with the Seabold twins, who are half shark and half lust demons, wielding powerful demonic magics both lust and fiery. Along with that the maid is quite the handful, a nineteen foot long green anaconda naga named Serena, who may seem shy and easy to fluster, but she can crush anything in her coils. This strange grouping of friends all live under the loving care of Mina and her bother, inside the mansion of the island of Tastia.

Strolling along the streets of Tastia Village, Mina looks through all the market stalls for food to take back to the manor, fish for herself, Dante and the cat folk that live with her, different cheeses and vegetables for Cotton, and various meats for Serana the live in maid. As she passes by the tavern a familiar face pops her head out to say hello, Loni the kobold, well known for getting into messy situations that involve her and whatever she can get between her legs with a cock. Mina attempts to ignore her but it’s no use, she already bounds out the door and hugs her.

“Mina! So good to see you, what brings you down this way? Couldn’t keep away from your favorite kobold?” She giggles and winks up at her, wiggling in excitement.

Mina pets the kobold’s head and shakes her head. “No dear I’m doing some shopping, need food to stock up on.”

Loni pouts and huffs. “Don’t you have a maid that is supposed to do that for you?”

“Serena has a mess to clean up of her own. Kit wouldn’t stop teasing her and wound up getting more than she bargained for.”

Loni gasps and places her hands on her hips. “That’s not fair! I’ve been trying to seduce that snake for ages and she never gives me a second glance!”

Mina laughs and smirks. “She’s not a fan of very sloppy seconds.”

Loni rolls her eyes and grins. “Girl has to make money some how, besides being a barmaid doesn’t pay enough to support me.”

“Yes well you also tend to go a bit overboard with some of your clients. I’ve seen you when you’re at your messiest.”

Loni grins as if proud of her accomplishments. “Well of course. The more the mess the more coin I make. Even though I do enjoy my work it does get tiresome and I do long for someone to go home to.”

Mina nods and just rubs her head. “Maybe if you gave that up and actually tried to find someone you could do without the extra job, be supported on your barmaid pay and your partner’s pay.”

Loni thinks for a moment and shrugs. “Maybe, but it seems so hard and bothersome. Especially since everyone around here seems to know me as the major whore and would most likely not give me the time of day unless my clothes were off and ass up for them.”

“And whose fault is that Loni? Certainly didn’t do yourself any favors by getting so into your side job like you do. Unfortunately you love getting fucked so much that you’re addicted to your job.”

Loni looks sheepishly down at her feet, a first for Mina to see. “Well yea, I like sex, a lot. But it doesn’t mean I don’t want something meaningful.”

Mina sighs and nods. “Maybe one day you will. But if you excuse me I have meats that need to be taken home before they spoil.”

“Oh! Sorry Mina, please come visit me soon!”

With that Loni runs back into the tavern and Mina shakes her head. Loni is a sweet girl and deserves a break but how to help her is beyond Mina’s capability. After a bit more shopping Mina begins her walk back towards the manor, a small shadow clone carrying her goods behind her as she makes her way up the hill.

After a while Mina arrives back home, strolling through the garden out front around the path to the front door. Once inside she makes her way to the kitchen and begins putting away groceries, humming softly to herself before her twin Dante walked in, nose buried in a manga.

“Good morning bro.”

“Morn sis,” is about all he can muster given how deep he is in his comic.

Mina chuckles to herself before poking his ear, eliciting a squeak from him.

“Wha-, why sis?”

“You’re too into it dear.” She hugs him and he hugs back, setting his book down.

“Yea yea, we all set on food?”

“For a while at least, I have a gig tonight.”

“Yea, Kit said she planned to be there.”

“I’m sure, she idolizes Maru” giggles and smiles.

“Yep, but I admit, Sunny is hot as hell.”

“Don’t let Moon find out, he may whoop your ass.”

“Pfft, let him try, we’re half demon.”

“And who said I won’t help him?”

“Oh that’s mean sis.”

Mina chuckles and finishes putting the groceries away before stretching out and walking to her room. Once in her room she starts changing into her clothes for the show, switching to a pair of black leather pants, red tight shirt, black leather boots, and her black leather long coat. Checking herself in the mirror before giving herself an approving smile she grabbed her red sunglasses and guitar case before heading out. Once outside she makes her way to the other side of town to her club, The Red Fin Tavern where she and the others were going to meet up for the show that night.

Inside the tavern was Astrid the dragoness that Mina had hired to manage the club and bartend. She flashed a smile at Mina as she arrived and leaned against the bar.

“Well look who is here three hours early, trying to get some practice in?”

“Nah, just wanted to get things set up before we start filling up for the night. Is Phoenix here? She needs to prep the sound board and make sure all the wires are hooked up.”

“Nah, she hasn’t shown up yet, you know her, always running behind.”

“Unfortunately that’s true. Well let me go set my stuff down and I’ll join you for a drink.”

“Sure thing boss, hope you’re up for your usual because that’s what I’m making.”

Mina just laughs as she gets her guitar out of it’s case and sets it up on the stand sitting on the stage, putting the case on the backside of the stage so it was out of the way.
