With 2024 now in the rearview mirror. It’s a good time to look back and reflect. I always feel like I haven’t done enough, but when I went to total it all up, I did quite a bit more in 2024 then I thought I did.

I wrote six different short stories last year. Some of them have been released, and others are still in the editing process. I also released a poetry chapbook, Therianthropic Dreams, at Anthrocon, and half the poetry in there I wrote this year. Finally, I finished drafting my next novel, The Blood of Life. Combined, that’s quite a bit of stuff.

All this leads into this year, where some of this work will come to fruition. First, there is an audiobook adaption of Scars of the Golden Dancer I’ll be releasing soon. Khaki has already recorded the book and done excellent work. I just need to finish stuff on my end so it can be released. Next, the delayed eBook of Therianthropic Dreams will come out. That’s entirely my fault it’s taken this long, and I just need to sit down and work out the formatting issues. That’s something I’d like to resolve this week.

For new material, I’m planning three new books for this year. The first is releasing The Blood of Life, my furry vampire novel. I’ve been working on edits, and progress has been good. I anticipate having it out this summer by Anthrocon. After that, I’ll be putting together another adult collection, Knotty Works 2. That will pull from my archive of existing stories, so production time on that should be shorter. Most of the stuff I’d like to include is already edited, but I’ve got some stories that I’ve had sitting around I’d like to revise so I can include. Finally, I’ve started planning a new poetry chapbook called Rites of Hope, and some of the content for that has been appearing on my Patreon.

It will likely take most of 2025 to get these books done, but I plan to keep pushing on them. I’m also want to start working my third novel soon, so I don’t want to commit to release dates yet for the other two books. However, barring major issues, I see both being out by next December.

I know 2025 could be a rough year for many people, but I’m going to keep pushing, and I can’t wait to get these released for you.
