Some may have noticed that I have been way quieter then usual. Regrettably, this is not due to holiday festivities. To make a long story shirt, my Grandmother passed on December 5th. She had been battling with health issues off an on over the years, but now she is at peace.

This loss has hit hard, I still have yet to fully process it. I've grieved off an on, but have also hidden my tears. Depression and bitterness always hit during the holidays and now there is one additional reason to let in these unwelcome visitors. The holidays are becoming more and more of a reminder of those lost. How alone I've become and that family get-togethers are now missed.

Being a bit of a loner, in ways, I have done this to myself. Now I am even more alone...

As for my art, a piece was started in November, that turned into a simple animation of sorts. The piece was irritating me, thus a break was taken. During this time, my Grandmother's health began worsening. While an attempt to go back and work on this most recent piece since her passing was made, I just wasn't ready yet. Hopefully in the next few days, an artistic spark will hit once again.

Uploads of my past works to the Inkblot gallery I started, had stopped too. This is another thing that will be continued soon.

I do hope everyone enjoyed a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year. Enjoy and cherish every moment with friends and family that you can.
