I'm hoping Bethesda will BS the Lilmothiiit back into existence somehow. There's other continents and regions outside of Tamriel. There's Yokuda, Thras, Ynslea. Akavir, Pyandonea, Atmora where Ysgromor and Talos came from. So any one of them may have a surviving race of the Lilmothiit that survived the knahatan flu
My head-canon version of Tamriel (which deviates fairly significantly from the official lore) says they fled to Pyandonea to get away from the Ayleid empire.
Last time i checked about the lilmothiit it mentioned them fleeing deeper into... What was it again,. blackmarsh? Territory in wich no humans reportetly dared venture as the argonians there just about killed any trespassers. So, while there is a good chance for them to be actually dead, there is also a small chance for them to simply have survived there, more or less protected by the argonians. Problem is, not much is written about them so that is really all that is there to be read about it.
Then I guess I'll have to hope that they make a game set in Blackmarsh, and then if they do I'll have to also hope they actually at least mention the Lilmothiit. But knowing Bethesda, probably neither of these things will happen.

I know this is off topic to the actual comic, but aren't Argonians technically part tree? I ask this because you seem knowledgeable, and more importantlly, invested in the Lore of TES.
To the best of my memory as of now, the Hist trees begat them as a species. Though they are not technically genetically treeish. It's one of those, "a wizard did it" kinda things.
In case you're still curious, no, they're their own species, but have an EXTREMELY close symbiotic relationship with the Hist trees. For example, argonians need Hist sap to go through puberty. The trees are telepathic and have a hivemind, one which they can pull argonians into in case of extreme emergency, with the most well known case being the Oblivion Crisis.
people have also been asking for proper to khajiit lore khajiit. aka, all the khajiit that are born on all those phases of the moon. people complained a lot when they had the Mane appear and it wasnt the cat version of Cousin It.

That's nothing, I have over 500, counting patches and such, and it still runs fine 90% of the time.
The scary part is doing almost exaclty that is theoretically possible in the Elder Scrolls universe.

I figured it out. This joke was just a massive game of transformation roulette to help revive the Lilmothiit from extinction!

that's not a problem in skyrim, we have some footwear alternatives for digitigrade races.

Since the Lilmothiit are, presumably, extinct, the fact that the curse chose to transform Torgir into a race that does not really have any kind of spotlight in the mass consciousness, besides the general idea of being a "Beast" race.
What I mean by this, when Torgir was referring to other races, he likely wasn't even subconsciously thinking of the Lilmothiit in his assessment. So the fact that the curse chose to go in this direction might be telling that Sheo is being a bit more of an active force in this then set parameters to the curse and letting it go.

It seems to be even worse than you think! This mematic curse seems to work on turning people into the thing they are most racist about, and in events of equal racism, then we get the whole RNG factor.

I'd argue that your first comment about people becoming what they are most racist towards is inaccurate, seeing that Delphine doesn't have scales and a set of wings instead of arms (unless you'd count that under speciesist, but the same then would have to apply to the argonians as well)
We actually already saw someone who had been turned into a Dwemer 12 or so pages ago.
Considering the multiple Dwemer ruins dotted around Skyrim, one even being adapted into it's own Nordic Hold, the Dwemer make much more sense then something as obscure as the Lilmothiit
From an immortal perspective, Sheogorath probably sees little difference between the Lilmothiit who have already disappeared and the humans who may one day disappear.

Hmm, lots of comments about how the Lilmothiit were wiped out unfairly. No one seems to realize that with Foxy here, there might be a good chance to bring them back, and fortified with strong Nord genes to make them a little more disease resistant

If it's the same Sheogorath that's in the canon version of Skyrim, it's almost certainly the Hero of Kvatch. He makes several references to that during his Daedric quest, IIRC.

I’m sure if you asked a blacksmith real nice they’d crafter special armor for beast races. Though I wonder how much the curse would affect those.

Y'know, sometimes I feel bad when TF'ees lose their identity and have to abandon the life they've lived 'til now. But... when that identity was built around racial supremacy? Well... it's not so much of a loss then, is it~?
Will she ever be able to speak out of "character" at some point, though (I mean, while still transformed, if she even ever revert back). We have seen before that it was possible if no one enable the cursed one.
