Real life isn't any less dystopic than that. I've worked jobs where the first aid kit is locked and only the manager has keys.

I've worked jobs where it's locked and the manager says "If you burn your arm with hot oil, put some mayo and mustard on it and then run it under a cold tap. It'll sting like a bitch but you'll be alright." Reason was they'd lose their bonus if they opened the kit.
Flash back to persuading our accountable manager that yes, we should in fact have eye wash bottles, and also a spill kit in the battery bay with some gloves...
A blue plastic barrel with a black lid. Ubiquitous. Half-Life 2's files listed one of these under props_borealis. Thanks, Gmod.
Up here in Wisconsin, we simply know it as the "Dahmer Barrel."

That's some super nasty stuff in the barrel! D:
But looove the scene~ <3

I couldn't find anything online that was 4-4-4 COR, but a few things came close
trimethylaluminum, at a 3-4-3 and reacts violently with water
tert-Butyllithium, which IS a 4-4-4 according to Wikipedia, and also doesn't like water
and tert-Butyl hydroperoxide, which is also 4-4-4 on Wikipedia, and is an incredible oxidizer, which is probably close enough.
whatever is in that barrel, they'll probably need some new flooring soon.

What could possibly go wrong right?
No really, did something go wrong, do we need to fire up the digger again?

Oof... given those hazard markings that has to be some nasty stuff.
Lethal health hazard, may combust at or below room temp, may detonate at standard temp and pressure, and corrosive. Reminds me of my last batch of hot sauce. 🌶️🌶️🌶️
(probably) no SDS
bureaucratic hell, red tape all over stuff that could save a person's immediate life
not OSHA approved, violations everywhere
i love it

It's missing the UN material marking, and POP marking!
What's the chemical! Cause I don't think a plastic single container is an authorized packaging for the Class 8 corrosive!
Always fun to see into your lil world with art, I enjoy seeing your stuff in my feed. ❤️

Gotta be the most unattractive comment I've read in a while
I have to imagine there's constantly mooks relocating stuff for various obscure reasons, within this labyrinthine site. So much the better for the hero to appear and start popping these barrels.
I'm sure it would be very amusing to play as the protagonist in a game level like this, but it's honestly kind of horrifying to imagine it from the mooks' side of things. X___X

A barrel containing the material that disintegrates you if you so much as stand a few feet from it while the mook only has a cheap hazmat hear to protect herself
Corporate abuse has never been this amusing x3

As a VCD player, I see barrel and I must yeet that bitch across the room with nary a care about its contents.
Okay so if a remember the Hazardous Materials Diamond thingy.
Blue is General Health Hazard, and 4 is deadly.
Red is flamability, and 4 means it will ignight at temperatures below 73F.
Yellow is Detonation Hazard and 4 means it might just detonate... because.
Plus a COR for Corrosive, meaning this is highly acidic.
What the fuck is in that barrel?

WSG's proprietary multipurpose chems formula for "manufacturing" all their fine consumer goods and cleaning up their floors ;3
It'll definitely clean the floors, whether that's wanted or not.
"You know, we have a segment on this podcast that we like to call... Safety Third"
Ah yes the 'contact supervisor before doing anything' part of their work routine. The hurdle that gets many Interns let go before they can be properly paid.
Such is WSG Ltd and their sneaky ways!
But super cute squeaky mook here :D

With how much the almighty supervisors watch their every movement and devisions you have to wonder if they literally have eyes on their backs x3
Well protected mook this one, the telltale sign is their loud huffing and squishy sounds they make on every move, and how comfy they are in it that they're reluctant to take it off :3

You would think! But the camera augment their vision to see all the infractions to punish the poor goons with!
And ye - with how long it likely takes them to be suited up they would want to make sure everything is done before wanting to waddle squeak their way to the decon room to get it all off.

Ensuring the mooks stay in protocol and remain comfortably hygienic with all the crazy goods they carry around, how thoughtful of them.
Lets hope its a bit more than the bare minimum required. Our favorite mooks need proper protection D:
How far can she push the hand truck before having to contact a supervisor?
Only you could have made a lizard carring a barrel of toxic material look this adorable <3
Should she be doing that alone though  lovely crisp artwork, you have a great sense of composition, I really enjoy these pieces depicting a moment in daily life
