The art is amazing. That thing under his chin seems like it would make it impossible to eat.

The protuberances look bony, but they're actually quite soft and flexible, if tough and leathery. They're also extremely sensitive, and one of the few times his centipede friends piss him off is when they scratch it with their little legs. Remember, if you're ever cuddling with one of these guys, always rub the chin stubs from tip to base, never the other way round. That's a courtship ritual and you probably don't want to be on the sharp end of how these guys reproduce.
Reminiscent of Nago no Kami, the boar demon god, from Princess Mononoke! Awesome work!
I believe that in Japanese folklore, the centipede represents stagnation and/or impure. Corrupted also.

Augustus De Morgan, in his poem Siphonaptera wrote:Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum.
And the great fleas themselves, in turn, have greater fleas to go on;
While these again have greater still, and greater still, and so on.
So, what's bugging you?
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum.
And the great fleas themselves, in turn, have greater fleas to go on;
While these again have greater still, and greater still, and so on.
So, what's bugging you?
I love this! I originally started playing Magic when Onslaught was released and I still have a deck that features all of the symbiotic buddies. I love my little centipede friends <3
Superb lighting and fur texture look! Huh! I guess those little guys are like ramoras with sharks? They're the clean-up crew and danger alarm? ;)
