Gogolook announced today the completion of its IPO listing on the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), under the ticker number 6902. Gogolook is the first pure AI software company in Taiwan which targets global markets listed on the TWSE. With support from the capital market, Gogolook aims to accelerate overseas expansion and innovation to outgrow the industry over the long term.

The intention of Gogolook was to build a "trust" relationship among strangers. With TrustTech as the core, Gogolook has expanded the Whoscall service to 30 overseas markets with 100 million downloads after 10 years. We have recruited more than 160 top talents around the world to work together to safeguard communication security, and implement the value of trust from bottom up!

Gogolook’s fintech service, Roo.Cash, has renamed it’s mandarin name and at the same time introduced Roo AI an AI-powered Q&A service for free financial advice to the market.

Gogolook submitted an application to list on The Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB). This milestone indicates Taiwan's sucessful cultivation of a new economy enterprise and represents great confidence for more companies to enter the captial market through the Innovation Board.

Gogolook announced the acquisition of Taiwanese AI-powered startup Crowdinsight!Through the M&A strategy, Gogolook will be able to integrate its own number database and name background checks technology to deepen the competitiveness, and provide more thorough solutions for financial institution customers.

Gogolook made its first step into the blockchain fraud prevention business by making a strategic investment in blockchain startup Unblock Analysis. Gogolook will also become the first global partner of the cryptocurrency transaction monitoring service of Unblock Analysis.

With the rapid growth of active users in Thailand, Whoscall established a leading position in the Thai fraud prevention market and a formal partnership with the Royal Thai Police. Furthermore, the Royal Thai Police officially certified Whoscall as an officially recommended fraud prevention tool.

The core value of innovation is "people." Jeff Kuo, the CEO of Gogolook, received the 4th Presidential Innovation Award. Whoscall has become a platform for telecom fraud prevention in the Asia-Pacific region. Our service has been affirmed by internationally renowned businesses such as Google, Apple, and Naver.

Gogolook invited Carol Hsu, the developer of the fact-checking LINE chatbot Auntie Meiyu, to join in to provide the public with the results of suspicious message validation. In the same year, we expanded our business into the field of fintech. Meanwhile, in response to the anti-fraud needs of enterprises, a series of product lines were launched to set up a corporate fraud prevention network.

Gogolook was invited by international government agencies and cooperated with South Korea's Financial Services Commission to assist South Korea in combating frauds and protecting local users from fraud threats.

"Managerial authority allows the company to continue to innovate, with the goal of eventually entering the capital market." The three founders of Gogolook were recognized and invested by Cathay Private Equity, and then WIN Semiconductors, regaining their managerial authority of Gogolook.

In cooperation with Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau on its 165 anti-fraud hotline, we provided real-time alerts to Taiwanese users with our constantly updated blocklist database. Furthermore, Whoscall became an officially recommended anti-fraud tool by the Criminal Investigation Bureau!

Gogolook acquired Call Defender, one of its competitors in Hong Kong. In addition, we also collaborated with the local service provider HKJunkCall and integrated the data with Whoscall's global number database to prevent communication frauds and harassment for Hong Kong users.

Whoscall's global downloads exceeded 10 million. We began to deep dive into specific markets and set up local teams. We targeted Thailand and Brazil to demonstrate to the global community Whoscall's determination to solve the world's trust problem and bring the successful models to key overseas markets.

Gogolook was invested by Naver, the parent company of LINE in South Korea. The partnership combined the advantages of both parties to accelerate entry into the global smartphone app market. As a result, we expanded our services to South Korea and other countries. In the same year, Whoscall was selected as one of the best apps on Google Play, providing global users with a better communication experience.

Founded in Taipei in 2012, Gogolook is committed to establishing a highly reliable interpersonal communication network for smartphone users. At this time, Whoscall, an unknown caller ID app, has accumulated more than 5 million users worldwide, with a recognition rate of 99%. The app enjoyed a rating of 4.5 on Google Play, with millions of active users daily.

10 months after its launch, Whoscall was recommended by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and gained global attention. The number of downloads grew from 20,000 to millions, with users from all over the world.

"We want to make an impact!" This is the original intention of the three founders of Whoscall. After a period of exploration and experimentation, the three decided to start from the market demand for fraud prevention and created the first unknown caller identification app Who's Calling (the predecessor of Whoscall), which was launched for the Android OS.

The founding of Gogolook started from the dormitory. Our three co-founders - Jeff, Jackie, and Reiny - had been participating in a series of entrepreneurship competitions throughout their student life and won first place in the business competition ATCC. The three founders continued to put the crazy ideas into practice, inventing several apps, which brought about the birth of Whoscall.
