Judy Croome lives and writes in Johannesburg, South Africa. Judy loves cats, exploring the meaning of life, chocolate, cats, rainy days, ancient churches with their ancient graveyards, cats, meditation, and solitude. Oh, and cats. Judy loves cats (who already appear to have discovered the meaning of life.)

Writing as J A Croome, "The Sand People: a collection of magical realism and other stories" [Aztar Press, 2024] is also available.

Croome's fiction and poetry books "the dust of hope (rune poems)" (Aztar Press, 2021); "Drop by Drop (poems of loss) (Aztar Press, 2020); "a stranger in a strange land" (Aztar Press, 2015); “The Weight of a Feather & Other Stories” (Aztar Press, 2013), “a Lamp at Midday” (Aztar Press, 2012) and “Dancing in the

THE END of Writing Challenge 2024

DAY 30/30 #WC24   — THE END — #writing those two #words, whether to signal the completion of a #novel or a #writing #challenge,  are always fraught with ambiguity.

On the one hand, sadness that this time together has ended; on the other hand, a sense of achievement that we stayed committed and #wrote every day.

Christopher Foster Judy, Hi, thank you so much for reaching out. I'm delighted to be a friend. I couldn't help but notice you were born in Zimbabwe. When I was a young fellow of 18, living in London, and Zimbabwe was still known as Southern Rhodesia, I went out to SR to work as an editorial assistant on a business magazine in Salisbury, as it then was. Love and blessings to you.

Ugbomeh Thanks Judy, take care of yourself ok.......
