I really don't believe I'll ever read a book like The Bronze Horseman, again, in my life time! Ever! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it...now start the 2nd book, Titiana and Alexander! :)
The whole series is beautiful. Have your tissue box out you'll cry in every book..
This is one of my favorite books/series of all time. I push it on my book club, friends, forums, everyone. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry lol

Tarryn, I agree, Tatiana and Alexander are "the best hero/heroine combo EVERRRRRRRRRR!" I still have yet to read a series that affects me as emotionally as this series. Not only was I totally connected to Tatiana and Alexander, but knowing that it is based on true WW2/Stalin/cold war historical horrors was totally captivating. I read this series straight through and longed for more (even though,I knew there couldn't be more, the series ended PERFECT). I am on a quest to find another historical series like this one. Can you write us one Tarryn, PLEASE? I love your writing style.
I've noticed that you don't give star ratings out like free popsicles. Therefore, in the event, such as this, you give 5 stars AND take the time to write a positive review, the book must be epic. Though, I honestly doubt it can top Thief & the rest of the Live Me with Lies series, I'm just sayin' I swear, I'm not just trying to blow sunshine up your arse either --> :-o~~ω. You see I've told E-V-E-R-Y-ONE I know (& some I don't) to read The Opportunist. Once they finish that book, the claws set in (with that lovely cliffhanger) and my work is done. And they should thank their lucky stars that they can read the whole series without waiting months in between. Man, that was painful & a little cruel but then when the other books came, you TOTALLY REDEEMED yourself! :-D
I get the love for this book now. I get it. Although I don't believe this kind of love exists outside of a novel, TBH is written so beautifully, it feels like it's real.
