Actor Michael Colgan made his London theatre debut at the Donmar Warehouse alongside Helen McCrory in Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning How I Learned To Drive. He has also played leading roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Abbey Theatre and Old Vic.
His extensive TV work includes The Fall, The Thick Of It, Happy Valley (BBC), Marcella, The Crown (Netflix), Chernobyl (HBO), The Regime (HBO) and Say Nothing (FX).
Films include Oscar-winner Simon Beaufoy's This Is Not A Love Song, acclaimed Belfast punk biopic Good Vibrations, and legendary Irish cult movie The Eliminator.
He also writes fiction under his birth name Michael Hughes, including the award-winning novel Country, a retelling of the Iliad set in his native Northern Ireland.
