Alexa is veteran TV Writer and Showrunner. Most recently, Alexa served as a Co-Executive Producer on BOSCH LEGACY for Amazon/Fable and developed CONFIDENT WOMEN for Amazon/Alison Janney and Bob Greenblatt. She consulted on B POSITIVE for NBC/Chuck Lorre, WHY WOMEN KILL Paramount +/Mark Cherry and MONARCH for Fox. Known for her original voice and wide range, Alexa has credits from iconic shows such as FRIENDS, SEX AND THE CITY, WEST WING, BIG LOVE which garnered her 4 Emmy, 2 WGA and 3 GLAAD Media Award Nominations.
Alexa also served as an Executive Producer for the first 3 seasons of GRACE & FRANKIE (Netflix/Skydance) (Humanitas Nomination) while developing multiple cable projects for Starz, Showtime and HBO. Her play FINGERSMITH (produced by Lily Tomlin and developed at New York Theater Workshop in NY and had 2 sold-out runs at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and American Repertory Theater in Boston. A frequent contributor to THIS AMERICAN LIFE, Alexa also performed on their live national tour. Her FRIENDS episode, "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" was listed in ROLLING STONES' "100 Best TV Episodes of All Time" and recently cited in Atlantic Magazine as a scientifically proven "mood booster."
