Shawn Lall

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Shawn is a Toronto-based actor and writer. In 2019 he completed Factory Theatre's "Mechanicals" program, made his directorial debut with The Stand (2019 InspiraTO Festival), and his professional stage debut as "Amir Kapoor" in Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced (Alberta Theatre Projects, 2020 Calgary Theatre Critics Award - Best Production). Other recent theatre credits include The Garden of Alla, Anywhere But Here, Titus Andronicus, and Carmilla. You can see Shawn on-screen in The Man From Toronto (Sony Pictures Entertainment) and in the short film The Paperboy (Backlash Pictures).
