Marjorie Tingle is the Founder & CEO of AniMak26 Inc. She has a zeal for producing interesting, compelling, and thought-provoking narratives and is especially drawn to working on untold African American stories, as she understands that these subjects are an essential part of American history and culture, that are not formally honored or commemorated.
Marjorie has worked as a producer on many independent films and television pilots. She's also a Meisner trained actress of Art Sake Studios and has performed in many independent films and theatrical productions. In February 2020, she produced her first documentary titled "Fireburn," which was shot on the island of Frederiksted, St. Croix. The documentary won numerous awards in various film festivals from around the world, such as the Chicago Indie Awards, New Haven International Film Festival, Baltimore International Film Festival, and the Other Venice Film Festival just to name a few.
As an award winning executive producer, her most recent short film "The Rebel Girls" was a finalist for the HBO Short Film Award at the American Black Film Festival. Her producing team on this project includes Felicia D.Henderson, Mara Brock-Akil, Liesl Wilke, Brett Mahoney, Edward Allen Berner, Caroline Williams and Katrina Kudlick, as they work to bring forth a limited TV series. The Rebel Girls is based on a real lie story and the film won the Episodic Jury Award at The Cinequest Film Festival, and received a Grand Jury Award at the Orlando International Film Festival.. The film is an official selection at the Martha Vineyards Film Festival, Indy Shorts Film Festival and the Orlando Urban Film Festival.
