C.K. Redlinger grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1988 where he held assignments as an assault team leader, explosive breacher, and close-quarters-battle instructor. In 1994, he returned to Atlanta and became a police officer, where he worked as a patrol officer, a detective in the Robbery/Homicide Unit, a patrol sergeant, a sniper team leader in SWAT, and as the unit commander of the Vice Squad. He received over 20 commendations for actions in the line of duty and left the department in 2004 to work overseas as a private military contractor. While overseas, he spent the next 12 years in high-threat areas providing close protection for US diplomats, managing security projects, and running large government training programs. His overseas work in Jordan allowed him to cross paths with the movie industry. Additionally, he started the country's first stunt performer program that helped support Jordan's film industry while providing a pipeline for Jordanians desiring a career in the stunt industry. Now, he is an aspiring novelist with a focus on writing in the suspense/mystery genre.
