I remember my mom watching this back in the 90s because the network advertised it as some zany comedy about a woman whose obsession was that Elvis still lived. It was actually a dud film about hard times for a rural family in Iowa with a woman who was dumped by her husband telling her teen daughter "if you don't have love to give, you don't have it at all" when the girl expresses how she doesn't want to end up used and discarded by a man. If they'd changed the title and removed the barely-referenced Elvis-obsession angle it probably could have been marketed as another typical Lifetime snoozeyawn.

This movie had its ups and downs. Some of the acting was good but the downside was that the story line wasn't very gripping.
It was an ordinary film but I would reccomend it when watching with kids.

Definitely worth the watch if you are a Roseanne fan. Interesting to see some of the same actors we saw in the show in this movie.
