The 22nd Filmfare Awards were held in 1975. Basu Chatterjee's Rajnigandha won the Best Film award, but the awards were dominated by Manoj Kumar's epic Roti Kapda Aur Makaan and M.S. Sathyu's art film Garm Hava.
