99 Hudson Street is an approved residential skyscraper proposed for Jersey City.[2] The building will be the tallest in Jersey City, and the tallest in the state of New Jersey.

History

Plans for the development were first released in March of 2014.[3] Originally, the plans called for twin towers, but after the land changed hands, the plans were changed to a single, 950 foot tower.[4] The building was approved in early 2015 by the city.[5]

The building was approved by the FAA in early 2016; buildings taller than 899 feet in Jersey City must seek FAA approval.[6] Ground was broken on January 29th, 2016.[7]

Usage

The building will be residential, and will include 700 condominiums.[8]
