The movie was panned by many movie critics. Currently, Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a 6% rating based on 35 reviews. Lauren Holly earned a Razzie Award nomination for Worst Actress for her work in this film and Turbulence, but lost the award to Demi Moore for G.I. Jane.
