American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition

The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) is a US-based professional organization. Its members include dieticians, nurses, pharmacists, physicians and scientists who are involved in providing clinical nutrition to patients.[1]

ASPEN was founded in 1976. It has over 6,000 members.[2] Its stated mission is, "to improve patient care by advancing the science and practice of clinical nutrition and metabolism."

The society runs an annual conference, "Clinical Nutrition Week".[3]
