Benjamin Brand (born 10 July 1989 in Gerolzhofen) is a German football referee from Bamberg.
Refereeing career
Brand has refereed on the DFB level since 2010.[1] In 2012 he was promoted to a 2. Bundesliga referee.[1] In the summer of 2015, he was once again promoted, this time to the top level of German football, the Bundesliga, for the 2015–16 season.[1] He takes the spots of retiring referees Peter Gagelmann and Thorsten Kinhöfer.[1]
Personal life
Brand lives in Bamberg, Germany, where he studies business administration. He referees for FC Schallfeld of the Bavarian Football Association.
