Academic programs
The private (for-profit) college offers Associate's, Bachelor's, and Graduate Degrees and provides academic programs in more than 20 career fields, including business administration, general business, accounting, financial services, marketing communications, management (including concentrations in entrepreneurship, environmental, nonprofit, and human resources), international business, information technology management, and fashion marketing and management through The Larry L. Luing School of Business. The School of Professional Studies offers degree programs in health services, justice studies (criminal justice), legal studies, graphic design, and interior design. The School of Liberal Arts offers courses in humanities, mathematics/science, social sciences, English, and foreign languages. The School of Graduate Studies in Woodland Park, NJ offers a Master of Business Administration degree in Management.
Berkeley College has three New York locations (Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains). In New Jersey there are five locations (Dover, Newark, Paramus, Woodbridge and Woodland Park). Berkeley College Online serves a global population. In January 2015, U.S. News & World Report named Berkeley College one of the Best Colleges for Online Bachelor's Degrees for the second consecutive year.
Of the college's more than 8,900 students, including more than 900 international students, 74% are enrolled in Bachelor's degree programs.[1] Berkeley College campuses are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Paralegal Studies program is approved by the American Bar Association.
Demographics and tuition
Roughly 60% of enrolled students identify themselves as female. A majority of students identify themselves as Black/African American (31%) or Hispanic/Latino (31%); additionally, 8% of students identify themselves as White, 2% as Asian, and <1% Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Of the students, 11% are non-resident aliens.[2]
According to the College Board, yearly tuition and fees are $21,900.[3]
