Bhutta is a tribe or community classified as either Jat[1][2] or Rajput[3] found in Pakistan in South Punjab (Bahawalpur etc.) and India (Rajasthan, specifically Jaisalmer region).
Sherbaz Khan Mazari, a politician, says that Bhutto Rajputs are descended from the Bhutta who migrated to Sindh, just as Soomro Rajputs in the Punjab are known as Soomra.[4]
