Brearton is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate borough of North Yorkshire, England, situated about 4 miles north of Knaresborough. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 141 increasing at the 2011 census to 146.[1] This small village has about 47 houses that are situated quite close together while cow and sheep fields surround it. Its remote location gives the people of Brearton privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Breaton's proximity to Knaresborough and Harrogate makes getting out easy.
