Bulgaria was represented at Eurovision 2005 by the group Kaffe and the song "Lorraine". The Bulgarian Final was held on February 12, 2005 at the Grand Concert Hall. Before the final there was a semi-final on January 21 with a total of 24 competing songs. A professional jury selected 12 of these 24 songs to go forward to the final where the winner was chosen by televoting. A jazz inspired band Kaffe was elected with the song "Lorraine", which is written by Vesselin Vesselinov-Eko & Orlin Pavlov and composed by Vesselin Vesselinov-Eko.
The spokesperson who revealed Bulgaria's votes for other countries was BNT employee Evgenia Atanasova.[1]
