CKTO-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 100.9 FM in Truro, Nova Scotia. The station plays a hot adult contemporary format and is branded as Big Dog 100.9. The station has been on the air since 1965.
CKTO's original call letters were CKCL-FM (later used on a Chilliwack, British Columbia radio station serving the Greater Vancouver area) and it used to be a CBC Radio affiliate until February 4, 1982.
The station is owned by Bell Media which also owns CKTY-FM as well as six other radio stations in the Atlantic provinces.
CKTO-FM was originally known as Mix 100.9 FM (100.9 The Mix) until 2001 when the station adopted the EZ Rock branding and became known as 100.9 EZ Rock. In 2002 the station adopted its current branding as Big Dog 100.9.
