Chengdu Medical College (Chinese: 成都医学院)is a medical college in Chengdu, China.Have two campus,which are Tianhui campus and Xindu campus, covering a total area of 1104.9 acres.Full time students have a master's degree graduate, this, college students more than 1.1 million people, continue to educate students more than 1.6 million people.
History
The Chengdu Medical college is established during the Chinese Civil War in 1947. Initially, it was a health school of Military Area Command of Anhui, Jiangsu and Henan Province, and renamed as PLA medical higher junior college in Chengdu in 1993, then it merged into the third army medical university in May 1999, rename as the third medical college of army of Chengdu of army medical university, is under the jurisdiction of the army to work out for a long time.The institute takes teaching of undergraduate course as the core, face 22 provinces in China and enrolls new students, train all kinds of high-quality, practical medical and health talents for the society.
Department structure
Institute divide into basic medical college, cultural and educational social sciences portion, clinical department of medial science, department of pharmacy, medical science examine department, medical the intersection of image and department and the intersection of nursing and the intersection of department,etc. and 11 institutes ‘ Department ,Open have clinical medicine, nursing, medical science examine and pharmacy, medical image study, employ psychology, the intersection of medicine and preparation, the intersection of biotechnology and 23 ‘ Specially Speciality and a plurality of professional directions of department.[1]
Students and Teachers
There are more than 11,000 full-time student in the college so far. Also, the college have a strong academic performance and experienced teaching team. There are 697 teachers, among them are 270 professors and associate professors, accounting for 38.74% of the total number of teachers; with doctoral and master's degrees, 454 people, accounting for 65.14% of the total number of teachers, 141 people graduate instructors, 2 part-time doctoral tutors, 4 provincial teaching masters of Sichuan, and Wang Zhengguo as the honorary president of Chinese academy of engineering.[2]
