Chinese nationality may refer to the nationality or the right to carry a passport of a number of areas:
Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, the law which defines who is or may become a PRC national.
HKSAR passport, issued to PRC nationals with permanent residence in Hong Kong
Macau SAR passport, issued to PRC nationals with permanent residence in the Macau
Nationality Law of the Republic of China, the law which defines who is or may become an ROC national. (Whether it is a part of Chinese nationality is under disputes, see political status of Taiwan and Taiwanization.)
Chinese nationality, more commonly in the plural form Chinese nationalities, may also be a term of reference to the various ethnic groups in China, individually or collectively (see Nation):
